The WHBL (Fictional) Has Two Openings...
and a third team that needs a co-GM for a transition period into next season.
Our homepage is here: http://whbl.net/index.php We're a fantasy player league with 4.5 seasons under our belt and a great core group of owners, most of which have been with us for quite some time. We use Talent Ratings only, Catobase, phpNuke, and some other fun stuff to make things as deep and interactive as possible. We sim on a M-W-Sat schedule, using a 7-8-7-8-7-8 game rotation. We have a very lively forum and some fantastic storytellers in the Team Reports forum. The backstory of the league is below, and makes for an interesting jumpstart for anyone looking to get in: http://www.whbl.net/history.html The rules are below: http://www.whbl.net/rules.html The two open teams are: Cali (Columbia) Condors ![]() We're also looking for a co-GM to manage with our current (and fantastic) GM in Jacksonville until the end of the season, when he'll hand the reigns over to you. Jacksonville Ospreys ![]() Jacksonville has become a perennial winner under current management, and Cali is the defending South American League Champion. If you like what you see, but want to change your logo, you're free to do so. There are a ton of fantastic logo designers here on the OOTP boards, or you can design your own. If you're interested, either shoot me a PM, or head on over to the forums, register, and claim your team in the General Discussion forum. We'd love to have you if you're serious about OOTP fictional league and you're serious about fun (boy, that was some bad cliche). -E

This is a great league, so don't hesitate to come on in!
As the GM of the Ospreys, I'll just reiterate that the co-GM status will be for the remaining 6-7 sims of the regular season and the postseason only. After this transition period, the team will be all yours. So, it can be seen as a short but useful training period in getting up to speed with a good team and a challenging league. Just hit me up with a PM if you have any interest ... |

Another lil' nudge.
We're nearing the stretch run, which for Jacksonville, means playoff time, and for Cali, means re-signings and offseason strategies. We'd love to have you on board. We're a 32-team league that has stayed remarkably full throughout our almost five seasons now. Very active folks and a good time all 'round. -E

Cali is now spoken for.
Jacksonville needs a co-owner for the last few sims that can take over full-time starting in the offseason. -E

Come over and kick the tires, and if you like what you see, I'll give you the grand tour before I hand over the keys at the EOY. We'd like you to sign on! |
