Accurate Stats

Doesn't anybody have any suggestions to make the stats more accurate. I'm using the MLB 2005 installer and I just finished my first season and the stats are alot worse than they should be. I know you can adjust the stats in the game set-up, but does anybody have suggestions as to where those sliders should be?

would help if you said what sort of statistics your looking for. if you do a search there was a post to a speadsheet that had the era settings and such you need to recreate your desired stats. if i remember right that is. Might be able to find it in the mods section. maybe someone else has a link or remembers better.
