New OOTP6.5 league accepting public applications

After laying the ground work for the core of managers we would like to have, I will now accept some public applications from people who would like to be the newest additions to this group of owners (most of which have played a long time together in various leagues). The league page is here: http://bcb.ai-sports.com/

The owners page is updated with the teams that are currently taken, if you wish to apply for a team please send me an email to k2lynnlutz@shaw.ca and provide me with as much information about yourself as you can. The basics should include your full name, aim name, age, any leagues you may be in and links to them.

I am almost certain there will be more than 9 applications for the last 9 teams, so it isn't entirely likely that everyone who sends an email will get a team, so please don't be upset if you don't!

We're full! I really appreciate the great emails, the depth of the information and the wonderful thought and consideration put into each one. It wasn't easy to decide who to go with, but I did my best and I hope it pays off.

If you did not get a reply, please forgive me, I think I replied to all emails.

We managed to have an opening already

Here I thought I had chosen the right people right of the bat, but I guess not.

The Colorado Rockies have opened up, please contact me if you have interest. My contact info is in the first post of this thread.

The LA Dodgers is the next victim of joining before realizing he didn't have the time for it...

The league is still pretty new and this team is 100% untouched.

Don't you love it when you think you have landed a really good person to join your league and then they never show up or do anything?

The team above (LA Dodgers) are open again and still 100% untouched.

how active is your league? do you have your own forum? are trades common? if so, how often do you trade?

i'm in a few leagues, but i have room for more. i ask this because i know of some leagues were people dislike owners like myself who are TOO active.

I was trying to figure out why Jason Grabowski was the leadoff hitter and starting third baseman for the Dodgers. Then I looked at his ratings. 8 for contact, 10 for power. Zowee. Cleanup hitter Chin-Feng Chen is 8 in contact, 9 in power -- this for a 27-year old with 2 major league hits to his credit. Some guy named Henri Stanley is rated better than Milton Bradley.
I take it this roster set wasn't based on the actual players named?

I certainly could have wished for a perfect roster set, but you either have to go with over saturated rosters or little known rosters and there is always some ratings that not everyone will agree with, nor make sense.

I don't know how to answer this, the league is pretty new, plus I am not sure how to rate active in terms of comparison to leagues you may have been in. In terms of leagues I have been in, I'd say it is in the range of medium activity. Vague, I know.
