All star game error

I am using 6.5b. I have been playing a league starting in 1901 and am now up to 1979. I would say about half the time the game total ****s up when the all star game rolls around closing down and messing up the retired players, duplicating some, and listing in a players stats that they were selected to the all star game multiple times. Whey does this happen?

Well 6.5b is a beta patch so there may still be problems. You should post this is the 6.5 beta thread here...

Make sure Markus knows if you just simmed or played out the game. Also in 6.12, 6.5, and 6.5a there is a knows all-star game bug. You could do a search but my basic understanding of it is if you click on a player in any of the lineup screens during the all star game the player will be duplicated and picked up from FA by another team, while the original will still be on his original team. It is something that Markus is definatly trying to kill with this last patch so if you can confirm that it's not fixed in this latest patch then he needs to know asap.

I should have made it clear that this issue occured for me with the same game before I upgraded (from 6.5a). And the crash acutally occurs when the game is determining the actual squads so it crashes out before the game can actually take place.

btw, I sim all my games I never play any of them.
