Runtime Error
I'm the commish for an online league. I tried to proceed to next season tonight and I'm getting an error. I tried it on two different computers and I'm getting the same error which leads me to believe it's one of two things. Here's the error I'm getting:
After I proceed to next season it generates team reports but when it goes to the next step I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library prompt that says: Runtime Error! C:\programfiles\ootp6.5\ootp65.exe abornmal program termination I have the program installed in the same directory on both computers. So I think it's either a bad league file or something with how I have ootp stored on my computer. This is the first time I've tried to flip the season in 6.5 I'm running XP on both computers. What should I do? |

Hopefully you've been backing your league up consistently and if so I'd try using a backup copy of the league.
Can you give me the specs on the PC's?

Have you tried running it in OOTP 6.5b
It could have been a player issue...a player that was bugged or something. |

OK, I was able to flip the season by deleting the schedule file out of the league folder. So after the season flips, the date is 0/0/12. To make matters worse, no matter what I click on I get that run-time error. Is this making sense to anybody? Is there something obvious I can do to fix it now?

Actually, this time I was able to try and cvs import a schedule. When I did that and clicked on the file I wanted I got the runtime error. I clicked on the "Year Starts on" button and got the same error. I'm thinking this is definitely schedule related now.

See if you can copy a schedule.dat file from another league with the same number of teams.

I keep getting the same runtime error. Does anyone know why? Mine seemes to happens when I let the game sim for longer than a couple of weeks at a time.
