Upgrading to 6.5a issue

While someone else may have had this issue, I can't find record of it, so I will just post this.

I am running 6.12. League file works fine on this version of the program.

I have downloaded 6.5a.

I have copied the league file into the 6.5a folder.

When I try to open the league file I get a runtime error and the program closes out.

Any thoughts as to what will correct this issue? There does not seem to be any sort of import from 6.0 feature available.

Not sure if you are leaving out some details but I have copied and run numerous 6.12 leagues in 6.5 w/o issue.

Only detail that I might have left out is that the machine is a win98 machine.

All I am trying to do is bring my league file into 6.5. It works fine in the previous version.

is there a specific process for moving from 6.0 to 6.5 that I am missing?
