Merchandising Revenue problem

I've started a new online league (1901) and for a reason I can't find : some teams have a negative "Merchandising Revenue" amount of money after a week of simulations.
All their 1900 Finances are set to $0.
I'm thinking of setting their 1900 "Merchandising Revenue" to $7M.
Is it the best solution or... ?
I'm using OOTP 6.5a version

You'll need a number in the previous year because OOTP uses this number in the formula that calculates current season merchandising revenue.
