Exporting Team To FTP Problem

I have just purchased Out Of The Park Baseball and updated with the patch to version 6.12 to make sure I am up to date. I then joined a league and placed the league folder where it belongs. I can enter the game and see everything fine and control my team. The problem is when I try the Export Team to FTP. Here is what happens, I get a long long delay in which the program does not respond and when it finally does, it says "Export Failed". I have also tried Import Team from FTP and that one goes quick and says "Import file is not from OOTP 6.11!" Then I click on okay and it says "Import Failed! Invalid or old export-file!" Everywhere I look I get the same response "Maybe it is a firewall issue. I have disabled my firewall and also scoured the OOTP forums and found many people getting the same error messages and the responses usually mention something about firewall possibly being the problem. The only problem is unlike most great suggesstions, I never see the people coming back and saying "Oh yea thanks that fixed it". I also wrote an e-mail to tech support and guess what the response was? "Might be a firewall issue, other than that I don't know what to tell you". Does anyone know what to do???

Things I have already done:
Re Installed Game
Re Installed League File
Double checked Firewall Is Down
Double Checked That My Version Is 6.12

Make sure that all of the league info in the online league setup is correct,, settings, passwords, etc.
