Aaahhhh I Hate Elicense

So I break down pony up the $9.95 despite the fact the sound drivers issue is still not fixed & buy 6.5 ... & now I can't even open up OOTP 6 because I get the dreaded Error message 23 for Elicense when I try to open the game. And yes I disabled my personal firewall & yes license control is enabled on my Control Panel.

Any suggestions now. I've even ruined getting into OOTP 6!

• 23 (Purchase process only) This error only occurs during a desktop purchase, and means that the name and address you supplied does not exactly match the records for your credit card. You need to enter the name and address exactly as they appear on the credit card statement.

Thank you for your rapid response. I previously have sent elicense an email. Unfortunately, of course it's the weekend so I guess I will have to wait for a response 'til Monday. Looks like I'm taking the All Star break a little early

I can sympathize with PirateGM & his feelings towards elicense. After sending them an email over the weekend since my purchase of OOTP 6.5 has now resulted in not being able to play 6.5 or 6.0, the response I received today on fixing the issue was ... Nothing, nada, zilch, zip. And yes I know my email was received because I got an auto-generated response email with an official elicense tracking number, when I logged my complaint in the wee hours of Saturday am!

Sorry, but they are the only one's who can help you. Is it possible that their mail could have been blocked by a SPAM filter?

E-License has never responded to any of the three or four e-mails I've sent them, I don't have any spam filters. However, I used their support form and the problem was fixed two minutes later.

I doubt elicense's response would have been blocked since I received the auto-generated response over the weekend but I will do as remangii suggests and post on elicense's forum. Oops my mistake they don't have forum. I previously used the support form that's how I got a tracking number, just no help on actually fixing the problem. Mr. Kuffrey (at least I got the spelling right this time!) this is poor customer service on elicense's part, which I hope will be relayed to them by someone who has spent more money with them then $9.95.

I'm sure that with what I would imagine is a huge number of support issues that they deal with that every now and then a few will fall through the cracks. I've dealt with them for years and never had to wait more than a few hours for a response....even if I email them on the weekend.
