As you can tell this topic is just for those who play in online leagues. My question is simple:
Which league do you enjoy the most and why? Tell us about the features it has that allows it to stand out, why you have a passion for that league, etc... Just thought this might be a fun topic to kick around and will also help to bring attention to some of the better leagues in our little OOTP world.

Tough one for me, as I'm in five excellent leagues, from various historical eras, including one fictional. I'm going to sit on the fence and say that I look forward to all of them for different reasons :-)
Home Town Baseball - one of Cooley's fictional leagues, set in the 1920's. Only has 12 teams and never has had a vacancy, so owners are a tight group. Being fictional, the league has developed its own history through the creative writing talents and colorful imaginations of the owners. My first fictional league after years of historical leagues, and I never thought I'd enjoy a fictional league as much as I have. Shiba - a brand new league starting in 1947 with an initial draft. A very experienced bunch of owners, with most of them well known around here. Will be a challenge and hopefully enjoyable for that reason. MLB1966 - started in 1966, currently in 1974. Another very committed Commish who takes the time (with input from owners) to ensure that rookie ratings are historically accurate. Very active trading league, with some nice touches (eg. Japanese free agents from the era were added this year - Oh, Enatsu etc) Crackerjack - started in 1970, currently in 1976. Low turnover of owners (always a good sign), lots of activity, and a Commish who goes the extra yard. Looking forward to the expansion draft next season when Seattle and Toronto join. BBDL - started in 1984, currently in 1988. My favorite historical era, because it was when my interest in baseball took off. Commish is no BS, straight shooter who runs a tight ship. Rules are tweaked evey year so nothing gets stale. Best feature of this league is the cash bonuses for players who reach career milestones, get selected as All Stars, win end of season awards etc. In summary, I love them all :-)

My two favorites;
MLB Century( <a href="http://www.vintagesportinc.com/mlbc.htm" target="_blank">www.vintagesportinc.com/mlbc.htm</a> ) - Brainchild of Brent Dehart, oldtime league that began in 1905 and is currently simming 1918. Uses edited Lahman DB, historical format and historical guidelines, no free agency. Brent instituted a scrolling message board used to continually post updated league news and historical tidbits from the period being simmed. Boys of Summer( <a href="http://www.boys-of-summer.com/index.htm" target="_blank">www.boys-of-summer.com/index.htm</a> ) Iatric's historical league which also follows historical guidelines and includes all of Stacy's wonderful utilities such as the player notes editor.
