National and local popularity

Is it me or does anybody else think national and local popularity are reveresed.

In my experience national popularity is almost always higher than local populaity in v6.5. Seems to me it is different in life. Fans like guys on their favortie team nobody else has heard of -- especially prospects.

Looking at it, I thought maybe the labels may be reveresed.

Oddly enough, I recently traded for Willie Mays in 1967. He had popularities both in the 6's, but he's been hitting just .212 for me, so his local popularity is slipping while his national popularity is still firmly at 6.

This is one of the rare times I've seen popularity ratings seem correct, when a star player starts to fade and the New York fans start railing him
