The statheads' All-Star Write-In Vote

Who should be the designated OOTP All-Star write-in candidate for 2006? (The non-Gloads are there for cosmetic purposes only... much like their appearances in sanctioned MLB games this season...)

I thought the point was to send a completely undeserving person that shouldn't be there in a million years? If so, the only person on that list that fits that mold is Gload, because at least the others are starters with a little name value.

Look at their respective numbers this season and tell me if those are all star numbers... Gload is more deserving than those four, and might be again next year...

Well, seeing as how they haven't changed it yet, and I don't see them changing it in the future, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt we won't be able to vote for Eric Milton or Jose Lima.

I voted for Guzman because he's somewhat fast. Kind of.

I voted for Lima for two reasons.

(1) He used to be a Dodger.
(2) His wife is smokin'.

I should have voted for Lima. I want the National League to win home-field advantage this year so I'm trying to sabotage the AL team. Voting for Gload just means they'll win.

Where's Womack? Wait, I don't want another Yankee there anyway.

I vote for Jose Macias or Miguel Olivo.

No offense to the proud new poppa, but Aaron Boone shouldn't even be on the list.

Gibson swings, and a fly ball to deep right field! This is gonna be a home run! Unbelievable! A home run for Gibson! And the Dodgers have won the game, 5 to 4; I don't believe what I just saw! I don't believe what I just saw!
