Do you guys know of any affordable hosts that commishes use for their ootp leagues..I made the mistake in buying a package that does not have a 3rd party ftp, so i cannot upload using the game....I am lokoing for something affordable, that has ftp i can use for ootp6, and has enough disk space etc....Any suggestions? Thanks

That doesn't make any sense. What host do you have?

But I'll take it at face value and simply tell you that you DON'T want to upload via the game. Its takes forever and there are so many files to upload that failures can occur often and you get to start all over.

As a commish, you want to zip up your league stuff, upload it to your server using a real FTP client and than unzip it once its on your server. Your uploads will occur much faster and you'll be using far less of your bandwidth.

That looks like a completely normal host. Do you understand the basics of FTP? Your host would of given your FTP server info. It is usually something like ftp.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain is whatever domain you are using on the host. Your user id and pwd are usually whatever you created the account with unless your host gave you separate info regarding the FTP.

There are many free good FTP programs to use. And if you must, you can get it to work with OOTP to, but I don't recommend it for the commish. The GMs can use it because they are only sending 1 small file at a time. But its a real headache for the commish to use it to upload the league webpages.

i use my wife's and her business partner's server and yes, i have to pay for it lol
