Japan/Cuba players not showing up

I enabled the Japan Cuba players thing and I got an email that 3 new players had entered the league, normal enough, but one of them is not in the FA pool. I look him up on the player finder and he exists with no team, just not in the FA pool. I sim the offseason here i am on 3/30 I check again, he is still not in the FA pool, I check the player finder and he is still mentioned there with no team, any Ideas on what happened to him?

Amatuer draft maybe?

he is 26 years old isnt that a little old for the Ammy draft?

Yes, but this is OOTP, not real life. Is your draft June 1st? If so, maybe copy the league over and create a test league and sim to that date to see if he's in the draft. If he's not, then at least we'll know whether it's a bug or not.
