Error message - abnormal program termination

Anyone ever gotten this error? If so, what can or needs to be done? Thanks in advance.

Have you deleted any league by a chance?

Not sure. It's actually a message the commissioner of our league got and had posted on our forum. I'll try to find out from him though.

I wouldn't think he has. The only league he runs is ours (which has yet to start). He said he was making lineup changes when he shut it down for some reason. When trying to reopen the OOTP game, he now gets the message above.

OK, tell ya because that happens when the active league (last one opened) or the default league (Career2005.lg) got deleted. Then the game can't find it next time you try run it. Might be another reason, though.

Hmmm ... so he'd have to restore one or the other or both I guess, right? Hope he has a backup.

If the league that got deleted isn't Career2005.lg, you may try the original setup.dat that I posted here: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ight=setup.dat . It will point the game to that league upon opening instead of the deleted one. If it was Career2005.lg, he may have to reinstall the game again.
