Historical league needs Red Sox owner

The CCBL needs a new owner for the Boston Red Sox. The league, which began in 1930 and is currently in the first month of the 1940 season, consists of a good group of active owners doing what they can to re-construct baseball history. The league is currently running OOTP 6.12 -- we will discuss an upgrade to 6.5 in the offseason -- using the Lehman database as player pool.

The Red Sox have been a strong team in CCBL history, finishing no lower than 4th from 1934-38 before a 7th place finish in a strong American League last season (they still finished 72-82). Financially, the previous owner applied a win-at-all-costs mindset, and the team operated in the red for the last five or six years. But this season, the payroll is in the middle of the pack (8th overall) and the team is finally rebuilding some cash reserves.
