'Pitch around' simulates poorly...in 6.5

Well I play all my games out and the pitch around choice isn't realistic...
More often than not hits and especially homers are allowed. I understand that when a pitcher pitches around a hitter sometimes hits are allowed - however the ratio is in my opinion too high... In 6.5 I've given up 3 game winning homeruns on pitcharound pitches (in only 10 games)...- plus many hits

Although this ratio, in my opinion, was always off - it seems more pronounced in 6.5

any thoughts....

My first thought is "sample size". I haven't seen any problems with the "pitch around" feature.

Are you pitching around Vlad or Ross? That would explain the homeruns.

1 pitcharound was to preston wilson - pitcher was l. Hawkins
Righty vs. righty - poor hitter was following him - didn't want to give him anything to hit- Home run

I don't recall the other hitters but - they weren't great hitters with an exceptional talent to hit balls out of the strike zone like vlad

It knows the name Gload. Anyone who has him on their team never loses.

And sorry Davey, maybe you can post a video or something to make yourself feel better.

Ditto.

There wasn't any word of 'Pitch Around' being tinkered with for 6.5, so I wouldn't think it's coded any differently from previous v6 releases ...

Hey, hey now. I needed SOMEWHERE to test it, and I just happened to be replying to that thread at the time.

Ok, anyway. It's just sample size. Ten games isn't enough to judge it. It's worked fine for me.
