6.5 Bug - Career Stats
Hi All,
I just downloaded 6.5 and noticed a problem with career stats. If you look at the player profile where it shows the last 2 years (inuding the current year), the stats for the previous year are diiferent than what is listed in the career stats page. I have not loaded any Mods, or used any real rosters. It's a clean install and I ave noticed the problem using the default mlb 2005 league. I searched the boards for an answer but couldn't find anything. Can anyone help? I don't want to start my new league until i resolve the problem. Thanks in advance for your help. Jrexi |

I've noticed the same thing. With the roster set we're using in the DKBL, I've looked at both Jayson Werth and Jason Grabowski, and the previous season stats they show when you click on the player are different from the ones you see when you click 'batting stats' then 'career'.
In both cases, neither player ever had a season like the one being displayed, nor are those stats representative of their career totals. A further glance seems to indicate that the problem is universal. Every player I've looked at so far has that issue. |

Yeah, and it doesn't happen in earlier versions. I thought maybe it had to do with using 3rd party roster sets, but it happened to me on a clean install using the default mlb 2005 league.
I'm sure others have noticed, and I think this is a definite bug --- does anyone know how to fix, or will there be a patch available? |

Yup...Same thing here. I was looking at Bobby Abreu and it showed him hitting .270 last season, but the career stats show his TRUE stats.. Not a big deal for now, just an annoyance..

The 6.5a patch does not seem to fix this problem. I would say this is more than a minor annoyance as it can affect drafts, trades, etc when using the 'show last season's stats'. It is wrong on the first page of the player and under the more detailed batting stats player page (but correct under the career tab). Having to click on the player, then batting, then career is a few steps too many to see what a player did last year.

yep still a problem when people make 2005 real rosters.
the 2004 year stats in player card is not correct. and career stat for 2004 is. they dont match. and they should. this was a problem with 6.12 too and still is for 6.5a. it not the roster maker fault, because they said they try to put the correct stats for 2004 and the game changes it. i hope it can get fix. |
