Anybody willing to teach a Newbie?
I've never played in an online league but, I'd really love to learn. I play OOTP6 constantly on my computer but, I haven't ever played with other people. I think it's about time cause I'm gettnig lonely, not to mention bored.
 So, if a league has a space and is willing to bear with someone who is just learning, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any help! -Jason

In The ABL all teams have both an owner and a coach. If youre looking for experience becoming a coach under a knowledgeable owner will help you out.

Monty Brewster Baseball Association (MBBA) is always looking for enthusiastic newbies. We've had several and they've all had a good experience.

I am in the process of starting an 80s OOTP league. It will begin at 1980 with real players and progress using real players. It will be a 28 team league; 11 spots are currently available. If you are interested, e-mail me at bsimpson1974@alltel.net and I can send you more information.
Of the GMs currently signed up, 13 are veterans of various VBL leagues (www.virtualbaseball.org), all of which are/were simmed using Sierra's Front Page Sports Baseball Pro 98. (VBL3 is still active and uses this sim.) VBL4 will be the first to use OOTP. The league will begin with a fantasy draft of the 1980 player pool. We have a strong core of excellent, dedicated owners starting out, and I would certainly like to add a few more, either newcomers or veterans. Newbies are certainly welcome!
