Experienced GM looking

Have some room on my OOTP schedule. Looking for a league or two to fill some space.

What I prefer - Historical Leagues with Major League set-ups (real cities, etc)
I'm in a 1930's and a 1960's league so a 1950's or 1970's league would be great.

I wouldn't mind having the Mets in a latter day league - 80's, 90's 00's if it was early in the league and I still had most of the real roster. Or a start-up 2005 league with the Mets available.

I'd rather a league with more mature GMs, either by age or acting that way.

I'd rather not be in a fictional league (I'm in Time Warp so that more than fills my fictional needs), I'm sure they're fun, but just not my thing.

I've been checking out this board looking for a good fit, made a couple of inquiries, but nothing yet. Maybe this will get someone coming to me with an opening.

Thanks

Tom

FORT began in 1950, and we are currently in 1961 towards the end of the season.

I like to think we're a good league, with some of the best GMs around.

Still out here.

Some offers (thanks) but not what I'm looking for so far.

you could talk to the commish of VBL4. he is starting up an league starting in the 80's using players from that era. his sn is mcwsimpson or by email bsimpson1974@alltel.net . he can give you links to what the website will look like when the league gets running. only need a couple more owners to fill out the leauge.

Thanks. Already exchanged e-mails with him. I'm considering that one, but he's doing a draft of players rather than starting with the 1980 rosters so I'm less inclined to go that way.
