How do I restart a career

I have a custom league and I'm in year 2008. I want to go back to year 2000 and start a new league, but I want to keep all the same teams (not necessarily the players). I started this league in year 2004, so I've played 4 seasons thus far, when I reset league, it will only reset it back to 2008. I want an entirely new league but want to keep teams because I have logos stadiums, and minor teams already setup for them.
