But nonetheless the offseason trades went from hundreds ("normal") to zero ("low").
I'm not too surprised about that considering you went to low just as you were entering February and preseason followed by spring training. Looking at my last year in v23 and first year in v24, with average frequency, I had 2 trades in that window in each of those seasons. IE from Feb. 1 until the first regular season trade in April. It is one of the slowest trade times along with April/May. Note in my data I provided above I had 3 MLB trades one year, and 2 MLB the other in the April/May windows.

Try turning it to low in November and if your trades go to zero or anywhere near it you'll have a case.

It's really strange. The AI is waiving players sometimes without any sense. Like the Pirates e.g. are waiving Oneill Cruz in 2023, I mean what the...?
But it's a game so if it's only this... it would be okay.

But in my last safe I tested trade frequency at "normal" and in the first offseason there were literally hundreds of trades. Between Nov. and Jan. there was nearly not one single day without trades.

Then I set AI trade frequency to "low" and from this day to opening day not a single trade happened between AI controlled clubs.
The critique of AI-to-AI trade logic highlights the complexities and challenges inherent in automated trading systems. While AI-driven algorithms aim to streamline trading processes, criticisms arise regarding their effectiveness and accuracy. I understand you, I also faced this
