Nothing. Just people working in the tech industry defending other people in the tech industry looking at each other's belly button in amazement about how people not in the tech industry expect basic principles to be applied regarding a product they actually spent money on.

I work in the tech industry, as well, tied closely to software applications development, in fact. Maybe it's just me, but I'm more than happy to share, verbally or through a document, how something works and the user makes use of it. There's really no defendable excuse for not explaining something that someone obviously took the time to code from someone's development document.

I'm 100% with you. I work in the tech industry as well, and in fact have been in QA for many years. Let's just say the level of entitlement displayed by some here says more about them than it does people asking for basic information about a new feature.

The base game portion of the forums has been given less attention by them the past few years, at least compared to what it used to be. I suppose it makes sense now with the increase in popularity of Discord, and of course PT. They have to spread out more around more platforms.

But yes, if you look at only the base game forums, it's night and day to what it used to be like 7-8 years ago when it was the main focus for anything customer related.

No, I do understand what people are saying. This is a brand, brand new feature, and OOTP’s attitude towards these things, usually, has been to put them out first and get people to do statistical breakdowns, etc. later. I understand the frustration; my ridicule was aimed at people who thought they should have left the feature out until it was “properly” documented. I’m sorry, but that’s risible to me, not because we should be left in the dark, because I don’t want the development team held up by the marketing team.
