Quinta only have 3 more games, but even so, the games left for the top 4 mean that anything can happen.

Columbia have pretty much kept it going, but Auckland and Tampico have hung in their too. The Cougars have the most games remaining, so they could yet slip up, but the chasers have little room for error.

Can anyone give a quick summary of how online leagues work? I've never played OOTP online.

Diamond League
The final game between Mount Hawke and Tintagel turned out to be the season decider, and the Tinners nicked it.
Mount Hawke and Shinbone get another pop at the playoffs. Waxhaw couldn't quite pull themselves back from a very bad/unlucky first half. |

Columbia had a solid 6-3 month to wrap things up in style. You don't see 110 wins too often.
An impressive 6 teams into the playoffs, so fingers crossed for someone to come through. Aceldama drop to Bronze, but Baltimore played themselves out of trouble right at the end. |

Gold league:
Only Bushwood and Los Angeles hit the 10 game minimum so it was a battle between them for the OL crown. Head-to-head they were even at 2-2; so the difference was in their other games. Bushwood went .500 against Waffletown at 3-3; while Los Angeles took care of business against Port Ruppert, going 5-2 in their series to earn the gold tier OL crown. Overall, Waffletown picked up the second seed in the NC, so they get a first round bye. In the AC, Los Angeles won their division but were only the third best in the conference, so they will play in the wild card round. While Bushwood played .500 ball against OL competition, they struggled against the rest of the league and fell into the relegation zone, so they will head back to Silver next season. |

Good luck to everyone later. Let's see if we can win a couple of championships, and get OL's overall winning percentage up nearer to where it should be.

A little weird...
To tune in for my weekly visit and see one of my teams grab an OL crown. Weird but nice. Guess there's no need for me to start up the game. I'll check in again next Sunday to see if my services are needed. Good luck to those still playing. Have a nice week.
By the way, I'll keep an eye on the chatter for some kind of on line OL thing. I'd be interested if there were an historical bent to it. Otherwise I have no interest in OOTP 24 at all. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 12-04-2022 at 10:16 AM. |

in all my years playing OOTP, I've never actually been in a multi-player online league.... I would assume one person would act as the commissioner/owner of the league (and thus run the games/keep the official league data on their pc), and everyone else would work through them for trades/lineup changes/etc.... other than PT, most of my solo play stuff has either been historical 'what if' type leagues (random debut to have players like Cobb, Koufax and Trout in the same draft class, etc), or more recently the Beer League (which ran into a slight delay lately, but hoping to get some games going there again) |

Looks like we could do with some promotions from Silver... Ta da!
OL Series coming up, but who'll be taking on the seemingly indomitable Cougars? |
