Chafunkta without a king as an early house cleaning at the top sees GM Scott Lorimer and manager Darwin Miceli getting the boot. After making the post season in the league's first year, it's been a backwards march for Chafunkta in year 2 (71-91), year 3 (63-99) and year 4 (56-97, potentially on track for 100 losses).

Miceli had success in his initial season in the league as the bench coach at Palmetto, as they would win it all that season. He moved on to take the bench coach spot at Goose Island the next season, before making the step up to the manager spot with Chafunkta.

With 15 games remaining in their regular season, Horsefly Jazzy Razzy right fielder Jesus Cruz is still flirting with the .400 mark. After a scorching 6-for-6 game on September 22, he pulled his season average to .398; but a 1-for-4 day the next game dropped him down to .397

assuming 4 at bats per game, Cruz would need to go 26-for-60 (.433 average) to pull his season mark above .400
