Tintagel would like to apologize to everyone (other than Shinbone) for being so pathetic. The Stars are on a tear, though, and Aomori ain't doing so bad either.

It's a good six months since Mount Hawke won a PD, and it's nearly four months since their last HP from a regular pack. OL has a lot to answer for!! I mean, I would have cut myself free from this madness by now, otherwise . I'm trying to readjust my aspirations so that it's not constantly so disappointing...

I'd say leave them in/using the friends list if for no other reason than those years where we only have 4-5 teams in the tier.... having one more OL team might make the difference between teams getting the 10 game minimum or falling short

Well, they just added the ability to create a friend list in OOTP GO (possibly because I had asked for it for a while). So, I am out of OL this week but if Gold and Diamond OL teams friend me I should be back in OL next. I am in Diamond currently but I might be relegated as I am below .500 right now. I will try to keep up on my friend list for the rest of the season. Apologies that being OOTP GO means I cannot easily do standings like I did last year but I should be able to stick in OL for the rest of the season. Thanks to the OOTP GO team for adding this functionality! I will try to remind you on Sunday but I am now Quinta Fiasco -OL (and QF+) so friend me!
added to Waffletown's list

Auckland split a 4-game set with Long Beach, but took over the top spot in OL B224. The Landsharks ran into trouble in Terra Incognita, going 3-4 against the Rustlers in July.

North Bay in front with what seems to be an almost insurmountable lead. The Blizzard's schedule appears to be clear of further OL play, making the task of overcoming them very difficult for the remaining teams.

Eden Prairie grabs the lead going into the final month. They need 1 win from their remaining 3 OL games against Mevagissey to stay ahead of Bushwood. Mevagissey also play 3 against Baltimore and 7 against Columbia. If they don't beat Eden Prairie, they'll need a bunch of wins from those other games.

Bushwood and Tampico don't even play each other, and are done for the season.

Auckland in front. A critical 3-game set against Long Beach remains.

North Bay clinches the OL I211 title. Neither North Bay nor Grovers Mill have any OL games left on their schedule, while all other teams only have 3 apiece.

A very good season for Shinbone, and they pretty much had it stitched up by halfway. Tintagel did manage a pride saving sweep in their final set with the Stars (which also saved them from relegation), but it wasn't enough to give the AC teams much of a sniff.

Mount Hawke just pipped Aomori in both tables, but Aomori won the head-to-head 10-9. Despite being solid in OL, Port Ruppert didn't have a great time against the rest of the league, and will drop to Gold..

Good luck in the playoffs!

Quite an interesting finish. All the action revolved around Mevagissey, who swept Columbia in the first 3 games, but the Cougars fought back 4-0 in the next series. So a 2-1 win against Baltimore only gave Meva a 5-5 record for the month, and their 2-1 win against Eden Prairie wasn't enough to overtake them at the death.

Let's hope OL can have a better run at some finals this week!

Gold league:

Waffletown posted a winning record against every OL team this season to cruise to their first back-to-back OL crowns this version.

Overall, Waxhaw finished the season on a hot streak (8 straight wins) and easily won their division by 13 games to grab one of the bye spots. Waffletown also finished with a bang, rattling off 6 straight wins. Their streak was a necessity though, as they nabbed one of the wild card spots (and might have missed the post season without that streak). If Waxhaw and Waffletown can progress to the LCS, they will face each other to see which goes to the WS (and both would be promoted to Diamond in that case)

At the other end, Coney Island and Greenland both fell into the relegation zone and will head back to Silver next year.

North Bay officially crowned champions. Only Bordeaux fails to make the playoffs, but just barely misses out.

Auckland claims the crown, with the Sharks left circling into the playoffs. No teams will be relegated.

If Mevagissey win their DS, we may need Silver next week. You have a good week too.
