Lager League - Pilsner Division: Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot - September appears as if it will be a regular season victory lap for Weyerbacher, as they take a 22.5 game lead into the final full month of play before the post season. Shortstop Antonio Santistevan has picked up his batting to the point he has taken over the lead in the batting race with his .391 average.

Lager League - Kolsch Division: Scorched Earth Giant Killer - the polar opposite of the Pilsner division, Scorched Earth has no room for error as they cling to a razor thin 1 game lead heading into September. Management hopes their power game (2nd in home runs) and running game (3rd in stolen bases and runs scored) will continue to propel them towards their fourth straight division title.

Lager League - Helles Division: Ballast Point Commodores - with a comfortable 17 game lead in the division heading into September, Ballast Point hopes to hone their game to prepare for a solid run in the post season. Left fielder Sergio Sierra has settled into the leadoff spot, batting a solid .322 on the year and 82 runs scored.

Lager League - Tripel Division: Horsefly Jazzy Razzy - after two 4th place finishes and a 3rd place finish in their first three seasons, Horsefly is looking to skip the middle man of 2nd place and claim a division crown this season; but they can't let up down the stretch as their lead is a slim 1.5 games.

Stout League - Porter Division: Terrapin Hopsecutioner - familiar territory for Terrapin and their fans, they hold a 13.5 game lead in the division. Left fielder Kyle Jones, formerly of Chafunkta Kingfish and acquired in the off season, is enjoying seeing his contributions going towards a successful season for the team (.345 average, 28 home runs, 101 RBIs).

Stout League - Dunkel Division: Sleeping Giant Beaver Duck - with a slim 1 game lead, Sleeping Giant is looking to hoist their third straight Dunkel division pennant. Left fielder Javier Arboleda (30 home runs) and first baseman Alex Trevino (25 home runs) are providing a solid back-to-back punch from the 3-4 slots.

Stout League - Eisbock Division: Russian River Blind Pig - despite an uninspiring 16th ranked batting average, Russian River is finding ways to push runs across the plate (2nd ranked in runs scored). The mid season acquisition of Jorge Zamarripa is definitely helping the teams push for their first pennant and fourth straight post season appearance.

Stout League - Altbier Division: Toboggan Lunatic Fridge - after two dismal seasons to start (last place), Toboggan turned things around last year to finish 2nd. Looking to build on that, they carry a 4 game lead into September in the hopes of hoisting their first division pennant.
