Hidden Valley Bombers: 20-13
Palolo Puppies: 22-18
Weston Pointe Caspers: 20-20
Highland Raccoons:19-19
Cary Southpaws: 17-17
Shinbone Stars: 15-21
Kansas Rangers: 9-14

Total: 122-122
Also: Caspers, Raccoons, Kansas, and Hidden Valley all made the playoffs, but only the Kansas Rangers have made it to the sub-league series, where they are currently down 1-0 to the Golden Gophers BFF.

Three OL teams will be demoted to gold next season: Cary Southpaws (75-87 despite a +12 run difference), Palolo Puppies (74-88) and Shinbone Stars (72-90)

This is fine, as far as compiling the standings go.

If you have a google account, you have the free app "sheets," which is a spreadsheet program. I just set up a table there, and put in the results from the league team vs. team report. I don't think you need to bother for this week, but, if there aren't instructions available on using sheets, let me know, and we'll get you up and running for future use. Since it looks like the diamond league will be its smallest size in a long time, that might make it easier to get used to doing it, if you haven't before.

Thanks for jumping in here, This will fit the bill for this week.

The Wrap Up

When you can't think of a theme, a picture of Ebbets Field always makes a nice backdrop.

Friends List Updated

The list is up to date, and there seems to be a decent amount of movement this week, so please check carefully and submit. There's one brand new team, and the three Yardgoats teams in rookie, so if you're at the lower levels, start friending them now. Please fill your list.

As far as the PT playoffs go, we seem a little light on teams still alive. I will check in an hour or so, and hopefully have some World Series winners to post.

Congrats and thanks on a great week.

Gold Update. Norwood lost in the divisional series and Brigadoon fell in six games in the sub league series. Both teams will be moving to Diamond and Jefferson Valley and Bluffton will be dropping to Silver.

Playoff Update

No results for D352 yet. On the universe screen, it doesn't even have the playoff matchups yet.

The only other team still playing is Port Ruppert in S250. They trail 1-0 in the series.

In I168, Asheboro bowed out in the Conference championship.

In B202, Ring Road also made its exit in the Conference championship.

just another reminder to double check your friends list for any new teams moving up/down (especially you Bronze tier folks... don't leave out Blitzkrieg)

side note: Huzzah for the O'Fallon Owls (my pack-only squad). Just won their Stone tier championship.

I'll add a side note of my own. My 3rd team (the no-SE team, which is still thinking about joining the OL) won their Stone League championship. Onward to Iron!

That's it.

I thought I posted this earlier, but I guess I hit preview instead of submit.

In D352, Kansas lost in the conference finals.

In S250, Port Ruppert lost in the world series, 4-2.

Seems Good!

From what I can tell, we seem to have caught everyone. Nice job! My friends list doesn't have enough room to take in the new teams, but hopefully we caught them as well. Best of luck this week.

With two teams in gold, I've got that covered. I guess that leaves you silver, edster, since you volunteered.

Silver setup

Please take a close look, likely the last time we see Jefferson Valley at the top of a division.

So I definitely know how to use spreadsheets and have used Google Sheets "a bit". The issue is that I don't know how to post tables and pictures into these posts.

I also know how to use F12 to save a screenshot, but don't know how to "post" that screenshot. When I look at the message header, I can set text attributes (bold, underline, etc.) I can wrap quotes, paste a link (i guess to an html page) etc. but the thing for putting in images requires an http: location and I don't have a web server set up. It also doesn't include how you convert to spreadsheet format --- here is what I get if I copy/paste from a spreadsheet (this is using Open Office, I would assume others would be the same):

Name T TM OVR STU MOV CTRl Rate G GS IP HR/9 BB/9 K/9 BABIP ERA+ WAR WAR/200

scroll down to the "additional options" section and click "manage attachments"....

a smaller box will pop up with "choose file" buttons... click on one of those, find the screenshot (typically in the 'screenshots' folder in your OOTP folder) and attach it (click 'close window' in the top right of the little box when you are done)...

then submit the reply and the screenshot should be attached at the bottom (I will often hit 'preview post' first just to make sure it comes up like I expect, and then hit the submit reply after that

K-Town is undergoing major roster revisions and will probably still stay underneath you.

I take a screen shot with my MacBook shift-command-4 (print screen on a PC) to post the PT standings as well as the OL standings I compile in Excel. In Excel I have a grid on one sheet for each day of the week so I can track changes and if for some reason my math isn't correct sometimes looking at the prior day helps me find where my mistake is quicker.

Somehow the two rookie teams, myself and one of the Yard Goat teams, didn't get placed in same Rookie League, but I'm sure we'll have it figured out by next season. I have all Rookie and Stone leaguers in my friends list, and set PT settings to "use friends list", so not sure what happened.

Did you hit submit team after you friended your teams? That would be one reason why they wouldnt be in the same league.

Crowded Field Atop OL G305

It's a little early for anyone to separate from the pack, though Asylum's woeful start may doom them from the outset.
