I'm not sure beyond that point, would have to do some more research and I'm not overly familiar with Macs.

Edited my post: I found the setting to enable NL DH rule buried deep within one of the settings. My bad.

No major complaints so far, but I have to say, contract demands might need some fine-tuning. Adley Rutschman's long term demand is 11 years/$393,320,000. He's awesome but that seems steep lol. That's his demand on day 1 new save.

Edit: He came down a little into the season. 11/251M, I'll take it.

LOVING OOTP24!!!! Improved player and crowd animations. Game has a great "feel" to it. Been playing OOTP for 8 years (I think), have played every new version since OOTP 16.
OOTP team: thanks for "doing what you do"!
Now anxiously awaiting for our resident mods geniuses to upload their historical stadiums to the OOTP 24 workshop on Steam!

I’m playing on a Surface Pro X and at first glance it’s definitely smoother and better feeling than 23 was even though I didn’t have any real complaints about 23.

I’m looking forward to the kids going to bed tonight so I can really dive into this.

I just got OOTP24 from Steam and I had to try it out the first day of official release. As some of you know I have been most interested in AI manually played games and I have published well over a thousand previous AI OOTP games on Twitch or YouTube. Some of you might also know that I had requested some additional features in future OOTP versions back in a forum post last December.

I was well rewarded by Santa with OOTP24. I wanted better runner continuity as my most wanted wish and OOTP24 has it. I wanted better defensive situational response as my second wish and OOTP24 at first glance has that. I also dreamed of numbers and names on the back of jerseys and imagined an option for short pants with stockings along with an option for black shoes--all in OOTP24.

Wow! The manually played OOTP game has now taken a giant stride forward. Those of you who don't normally play OOTP in 3D manual game action just have to try it to know just how much better OOTP24 is compared to any previous OOTP version.

We have about a week before official opening day and I wanted my rosters to be more handy for commissioner mode editing as the teams make their final moves towards opening day so I did for now turn off all trades and I decided to play an exhibition game instead of statistics count opening day. I added two custom cam views along with my typical game sounds + text-to-speech and placed the result on YouTube. Here it is, exhibition of 2023 AI Yankees at 2023 AI Blue Jays in remodeled Rogers Centre:

The YouTube description tells more about how I set up this particular game and even explains how you can set up the two custom cam views I created (which should work at any OOTP24 default park).

First time playing OOTP Baseball in eight years, so I'm going through the tutorials right from the Start Screen. First of all, the team and player names mentioned in the tutorial dialogs don't match what's on the screen. And then part way through the second tutorial the tutorial dialog pop-ups disappear.

Before I spend the time filling out a bug report, is this what other folks are seeing? I'm guessing that the tutorial files are still the ones from the previous year and so aren't matching up with the team data properly. If that's true I figure its just something the devs haven't gotten to yet.

That's on me. I have been revising our tutorials for 24 and we're just waiting for translations to be completed before they're added to the game. So those are the 23 tutorials and they won't go in sync completely with 24.

This should be corrected for the release version, to play out until the decision moment. It was not intended to force the decision before the play.

I'd much rather this then asking for too little. Some guys ask for the moon because they're not ready to take a reasonable offer. It's impossible to make it perfect but I like the fact they ask for too much at times and then come down when they're ready to sign a reasonable deal. Good job by the devs on this!
