I think I have built a very nice league history now. Beginning next season I will start a 16-team playoff to get myself more invested. By playing out the playoff games I will get to see all of the NHL graphics that I have too.

I'm a fan of the New York Rangers, and before that I was a Hartford Whalers fan until they moved to Carolina, so from now on, the rest of the way, I'll post the results of the Rangers' and Whalers' playoff games and we'll see how they do going forward.

2040 Standings
The Whalers missed the playoffs, so we will be following the Rangers' playoff quest in their search for their 26th Stanley Cup. The Rangers had a great year, finishing 93-47 and in 1st place in the NHL standings. They will be facing their local rivals, the New York Islanders in the Sweet 16. If the Rangers get past the Islanders, they will be slated to face the Bruins-Flyers winner in the Elite 8. The current NHL dynasty, the Los Angeles Kings, finished in 11th at 74-66 and will be battling the Montreal Canadiens (79-61, 6th). Last edited by jg2977; 03-25-2023 at 10:10 AM. |
