I don't get all freaky about the look of the game -- you can't take what you see on the field as gospel, what is important is the result -- but one thing I've noticed that often when I get a hit, the video portion of the game slows dramatically.
This doesn't happen all the time, but most of the time. And it never happens when the other team is at the plate. Also, base stealing still stinks big time. |

I'm not giving the devs an excuse but it's extremely time consuming to get animations right. After the ball is put into play and there's men on base you need to account for animations of all fielders that will be involved in the play. Then, you need to make sure it synchs up with the ball speed and also make sure the animation is timed correctly to make it appear like the baserunner is out. Then you need to tell the baserunner to jog back to the dugout and so on. All this could take all day to get right and then you need to move on to the next play.
