I feel your pain Stanley. With all the false starts and trips this year - plus the reality that after 6 months, there's nothing to strive for - I've just been checking in when there's nothing else to do. Everything will start over in March though, but I'm 99% sure PT will only hold my interest until October.

A lot of weeks in Diamond would have been a washout without the Mundys on the scene, so thanks for giving it another go, Stanley

This is my last PT. Gripes aside, I'm gonna have way less time on my hands by the time '24 comes out. I'll have a dabble in the classic game again. In the meantime, I'll keep covering what I can in OL (and keeping my fingers crossed that some Gold teams can actually get promoted).

Gold league:

The newly renamed Tintagel Kings sit atop the OL standings with a perfect record (yeah, it's just 1-0, but take it while ya can ). At the other end, last year's OL Gold winners are this years OL league foundation as Waffletown struggles against OL competition (but not the rest of the league as they have the best record in the NC, so go figure)

Even opening packs is no longer fun. Our League teams play in 50% less games than in the past...Well, I could go on, but I won't. I'm shutting the game down, but I will check on the forum and will post final standings for any OL leagues my teams are in if I see it hasn't been done. My thanks to all the wonderful people I've met through OL. Adios!

I have 7 weeks worth of packs to open at which point I may do what I did last year with my Sugar Hill team, sell off the entire team and make a theme team or a team of players I admired growing up. So I am hanging in there but I still long for PT20 the best version imho.

all I can say is I appreciate the continued active involvement of everyone here... definitely makes it more fun/interesting.

I'll be back for the next iteration to keep the Beer League rolling, and will probably keep Waffletown going in the PT ranks. Might run an end-of-version poll here to see if there's enough interest in a 6th OL season. If not, the Syrups will just wander the PT leagues as a barnstorming team.

As ever, I'm having trouble getting the small logo to stick and also with Mevagissey after I edited their name - which doesn't fit the -OL on your screen resolution now. Madder do ee?

At halfway, Mount Hawke are rocking the worst run diff in Perfect . I had a look around at the other teams on Monday, and it was clear that the Tinners wouldn't be pulling up any trees.

I'm gonna try my hardest to resist doing anything with Mevagissey for a while, in the hope that they'll slide on back down to Silver.

Iron

Apologies for the lack of reporting from Iron. It's Wedding Day for my youngest daughter and quite the busy week. So let's get to it...

Auckland is in the lead, capitalizing on a lighter-than-average OL schedule. Daytona Beach has quite the team, though, and is doing their best to track the Athletics.

I'd like to join...

Johnny_styles1
Tampico Stogies

edit - added the "- OL" & the "+" and friended 22 other managers with the "OL extension. Removing the few live players I was using.

Anything else I need to do?

Hi Johnny, it's always good to have an extra team! The friend list is not quite as straightforward as it seems, though. Some OL players are not (very)active, and if you friend players that don't friend you back, it can cause problems. I highly recommend clearing your fiend list, then, if we can confirm that a few players have friended you today, I suggest that you just add them for now. I'm convinced that that is the best way for a new member to make a smooth entrance into OL.

You can definitely start by adding my three teams. I had a quick look at your current league, and I see that you'll be in Silver again next week. My Mevagissey team will be in Silver next week, so just adding them should get you in.

I'll give a reminder later after we've hit a new page, for anyone that may not see these posts.

In Perfect, Mount Hawke had a decidedly better second half, actually posting a winning record after the ASB, and even bringing their run diff down. 71-91 is very unspectacularly unembarrassing . I've done nothing with the team all week because it's been a bad time to spend points. Zzzz.

In Diamond, looks like Aomori had another strong week, but were beaten into the wildcard by a 101 win team. And LA took a wildcard spot with their final win of the season. Good luck!

Long Beach takes home the 2047 Bronze crown. No relegations. Silver will be up shortly.

Bushwood paves the way in the two-tiered Silver OL. The standings reveal a distinct have/have-not split between the top and bottom halves. Terra Incognita and Doug will both be heading down to Bronze. That means I won't be able to post Silver standings next Sunday. However, I will check on Saturday night to see if anyone has picked up Bronze, and wherever Port Ruppert might land. I won't be around later to post the movement of the teams. Sorry. Good luck to those still playing. I will add the new team to my Friends lists for Port Ruppert, Aceldama, and Terra Incognita.

Gold league:

Shinbone and Waxhaw both made a solid push to try and leapfrog Port Ruppert for the OL crown, but fell short as the Mundys claimed the Gold tier title.

Overall, Port Ruppert will be the lone OL playoff rep from the AC and will play in the wild card round. In the NC, Tintagel picked up a bye into the LDS. Waffletown will play in the wild card. If they are able to buck their usual trend of epic collapse after game 162, they would face Tintagel in the LDS, so at best 2 OL teams have a shot at promotion to Diamond.

Megavissey and Coney Island will head back to Silver next season
