18 packs to open thanks to some random tourney wins..... out of the 108 cards, ended up with a BAL Todd Helton bronze (didn't have him so something to add to the collections) and two Diamond cards... both Jose Ramirez ovr at a 98 (dropped 2 since the start, so used to be a perfect)... wondering what the chances are that he'll regain those 2 points and sell for 20K instead of 4K

It's not about my team winning or losing-I like looking at box scores and league leaders etc. and they are kind of watered down is all.
Though I was late to the Langston party, he paid off in the short term for Gear Terrace. (2 walks, only earned 2150 PP, however.)

Port Ruppert Pads Lead from Sidelines in OL B233

The Mundys increased their lead without leaving the bench, as the other top contenders posted solid numbers, yet slipped back a bit. Cleveland was 4-2 and Gettysburg 3-2. South Holland did give away a game to .500 at 1-2.

Same thing here I pulled 2 nelson arenado’s last week. He dropped 2 points to a 98. I am keeping them on reserve roster in case he gets those 2 pts back in July.

I have been opening packs daily this week. 39 packs Monday to Wednesday of utter garbage. Going back to Saturday mornings.

I would hold Ramirez until at least the next update. It is certainly possible he could regain those two points. He won’t drop below diamond so there’s no chance you will lose PP by waiting.

Port Ruppert Clings to Slim lead as Gettysburg Charges toward Top of OL B233

The Bullets took three-of-four from the Mundys, part of an 8-3 July run to nearly grab the lead. Cleveland, 2-4, and South Holland, 3-4, slipped back from the top two.

Diamond League:

I'll check the fixtures later to see if Cary have actually wrapped up the OL title, or if there's a little life left in the race.

Looks like Paxville will be getting 2 wooden spoons .

Coney Island held its cards and coffee prior to work. Opened 29 packs

Historical Diamonds: Walter Johnson and Todd Hunley

Live Diamond: Another Nolan Arenado- I am now holding three at a 98 rating I am hoping he gets a +2 in the July update

Historical Gold: Jesse Barnes and Leon Cadore. Cadore was an original member of the Coney Island Warriors when they were in the legends of baseball league, an APBA computer league. I thought of activating him for today but at over 40K in the auction house all sentiment went out the window. Leon is one of only two members of my APBA league team that hasn't past through one of my versions of the Warriors in PT. The other was Frank Smith who pitched for the White Sox in the early 1900's

A future legend that went up on the AH along with a couple of live golds I posted at 1001 in case someone wants them. Holding on to 4 live golds, 2 89's and 2 88's until the ratings update.

Overall for 29 packs no real game changers but pretty good.

OL B233: Mundys Still Lead, but...

With a 4-3 mark in August, Port Ruppert held onto first, but Gettysburg crept a little closer, going 7-5, and, looking at the schedule, seems to have nudged itself into a spot along the rail for the home stretch. Cleveland kept pace, also going 4-3, to round out the trio still in competition for the crown in 2032.

As for the schedule, Gettysburg has 15 OL games left, eight at home, with all their games against teams they have handled well this year. They have home-and-home series against both Left Coast and Gem City, as well as three contests against the Mundys in the friendly confines of Fusillade Stadium. The Bullets are 20-10 against the three, so far.

Port Ruppert has six to play, all on the road, the series against Gettysburg, as well as a visit to Route 66. The Commodores travel to Daytona Beach for their final three games, probably needing a sweep.

Both of those historical golds are cards that were just introduced this Thursday. That’s amazing lucky to get two of them.

Actually, I'd say better than pretty good. I opened 105 packs with my coffee and got three live diamonds, and eight live golds to sell, and two historical golds, I believe. On the upside, I did double up on a couple build-a-legends, so that'll be about 4-5 K.
