Fyi
I probably won't be home later to do the weekly team league assignment post, but, to be honest, it's likely unnecessary this late into the game. We and the AI seem to have reached an agreement on such matters. Good luck to the play off teams.

Heh heh, you're probably right. Maybe Jason, Rev, or myself could fill in, though. I quite like seeing where everyone's gonna be. I'll have a look later.

Fantastic season, Mount Hawke. Great job!

It must be nice to have a team that actually shows up to play on Sundays.
Waste of my time. Always getting screwed over no matter how hard I work. Sick of this garbage. Last edited by Magus978; 10-30-2022 at 03:04 PM. |

Been a bit otherwise engaged tonight. Just discovered that Mount Hawke took the Diamond series 4-2 (hurrah), but no one made it out of Gold (boo).
I'm too knackered to figure out any other winners/movement right now, but I reckon Stanley was accurate with his earlier assessment anyway. |

wouldn't know... my team always forgets how to hit and sometimes forgets how to pitch after game 162... another playoff "run" ends in the wild card round |

No OL World Series wins in Iron or Stone. Fort Davis will move up from Stone, but everyone else stays put.

Seemed to be universally rough for OL in the playoffs this week. After the season they had, I had a feeling that the Tinners might be destined to go all the way. I was hoping that at least a couple of teams would get promoted from Gold, but the Gold playoffs were a disaster.

The Kings franchise has finally completed it's takeover of the Claptown Maniacs, and relocated to Tintagel (pronounced with an adge). The deal only cost £1, and the new ownership have also invested minimal resources into the rebranding.

2047 tier breakdown:
in the usual PT fashion, make it one year, missed the next... New Zealand missed at Stone (but London finally pulled in with the rest of Iron for the first time) Stone= 4 teams (3 in one; 1 in another) Iron= 10 teams Bronze= 5 teams Silver= 6 teams Gold= 7 teams Diamond= 2 teams Perfect= 1 teams Gold league: Megavissey, Waxhaw, and Port Ruppert all gathered in the AC Central; everyone else off by themselves in their own division |

I had trouble loading Claptown up earlier, and obviously didn't get them updated in time!

I think it's time
After getting continued card sync error messages during the time I had to post new leagues screens, I tried again this morning and was greeted with the attached. This has been my least favorite version of the game, and for various reasons I won't bore you with, I have reached my limit. I actually haven't actively managed any of my teams in quite awhile. Even opening packs is no longer fun. Our League teams play in 50% less games than in the past...Well, I could go on, but I won't. I'm shutting the game down, but I will check on the forum and will post final standings for any OL leagues my teams are in if I see it hasn't been done. My thanks to all the wonderful people I've met through OL. Adios!

Iron
Big disparity in games played among league teams, which should even out as season progresses.

I have 7 weeks worth of packs to open at which point I may do what I did last year with my Sugar Hill team, sell off the entire team and make a theme team or a team of players I admired growing up. So I am hanging in there but I still long for PT20 the best version imho. |
