All 6 of you who picked the Pats to lose should be ashamed of yourselves. It was a foolish pick.

You are an idiot. It was not foolish, the Colts and the Pats are probably the 2 best teams in the AFC. You play that game 9 more times and the Colts will win 5 out of 9. You feel lucky your team won.

Facts don't back that assumption up. The Colts haven't beaten the Pats since 2001, so what makes you believe that the Colts could win 5 out of 9 ? The Colts still don't have a defense, and have shown zero ability to win big games.

Back to topic, it's a shame I can't use Miami again. They would've been good for at least another 10 losses this year !!

Maybe not foolish but I think it could be called daring. There were definitely some "easier" picks this week!

The two teams are evenly matched. I did not take the Colts or the Pats because that game is a toss up. The fumble on the one yard line sealed the deal for the Pats, if that didn't happen the Colts would have walked away with a win in Foxborrow. SO the guys saying everyone was foolish for picking against the Pats are just being homers, it was obvious Indy can hang with the Patriots.

Edit: I agree with LL, there were easier games to pick. To pick against either team was daring.

The Colts couldn't beat the Patriots even with Tyrone freaking Poole covering Marvin Harrison for almost the entire game. The Patritos also had no backup running back, which limited Dillon's use. Oh, and the refs were apparently now calling all these horrible illegal contact penalties the Patriots committed in the AFC Championship game (a way overblown situation).

And the Colts still came up short. I hope the Colts and Patriots are the two best teams in the AFC. I hope Manning goes back to Foxborough in the AFC Championship game. I want another Patriots Super Bowl Championship.

There were definetly alot easier games to pick this week. Then again, I thought the Browns had no chance against the Ravens.
Regarding Pats/Colts, it seems to me that the Pats just have the Colts number. The Colts seem to find a way to lose, and the Pats seem to find a way to win in their matchups. Kind of how the Red Sox find ways not to win the WS, but not quite as extreme.

What a silly comment. How can you even venture a guess as to which team would win the most games? Think about how friggin' tired each team would be after playing even one more game. By the time they got to game four or five both rosters would most likely be decimated by injuries brought on by fatigue. C'mon, you're talking about 30 straight hours of football. This isn't foosball or darts.

Yeah, true. What was I thinking?

Dagrims pointed out, so maybe you should read, that they would be too tired to play that many games.

Actually, with Indy playing Tennesse, picking the Colts to lose might not be such a bad pick. Especially with it in Tennessee. Such a crappy schedule for the Colts to begin the year.

I don't know who they play next week but my pick so far is the Ravens...they let the lowly Browns just beat the hell out of them.

LOL - you're just mad because they made you lose on a "spread-oriented" pool

LOL, this is true, but still the Ravens are supposed to have a top notch D and they let up 20 points against a pretty poor offense. Either Garcia is really something or the Ravens have lost their defense.

I'm thinking it might be a bit of both. Of course I may be looking at this through rose-colored glasses, but Garcia simply looked smart when he was playing. As a Clevelander, I haven't seen a QB play smart since the days of Bernie Kosar and was fairly impressed with it. I'll be more impressed if he shows the same gamesmanship the next time around, but in the meantime I'm pretty happy.
