With the largest division lead at 6 1/2 games, no team is running away with their respective division races (and one division in particular is still a jumbled mess of teams, none of whom appear to want the title). A look around the league at the leaders after two months of play:

Lager League: Pilsner Division: Foulmouthed Malcontent - a three game losing streak to finish May has whittled their division lead down to just a half game. An impartial observer would be excused for wondering how this team is in the position they are, as they rank in the bottom half of the league in every single offensive and defensive category.

Lager League: Kolsch Division: - Charleville Half Wits - while their team batting average looks anemic from a professional view (.212), it actually ranks 3rd in the league. Strong performances from starter Harry Mathias (7-1, 1.75 ERA), and first baseman A.J. Conley (.243, 13 home runs, 33 RBIs) is helping power the Half Wits to this point.

Lager League: Helles Division: Ballast Point Commodores - it's no secret why this group is riding high atop the division. Top ranked in both batting average (.238) and starter's ERA (2.19). They also have the May batter of the month in Sandy Hernandez (.286, 14 home runs, 41 RBIs), and the steady bat of left fielder Carlos Santana (.310 average, league high 17 game hitting streak) to help power their team to a 5 game division lead.

Lager League: Tripel Division: Great Raft Reasonably Corrupt - other than batting average (4th ranked at .210), this bunch is the top ranked in most of the other offensive categories (runs scored, on base bct, OPS, batting WAR, wOBA and home runs); so it's no surprise they enjoy the biggest division lead at this point (6.5 games). Stout League: Altbier Division: Toboggan Lunatic Fridge - riding their offense to the top of the division, Toboggan ranks 1st in runs scored, batting average, OPS, batting WAR and wOBA; and 2nd ranked in on base pct. While the bulk of the offense is being carried so far by a tag team effort from first baseman Adam Valle (.310 average, 15 home runs, 36 RBIs) and center fielder Dale Beauvais (.282 average, 10 home runs, 39 RBIs); the defensive side is not to be outdone; with ace starter Amine Brisset rocking a 7-2 record with an 0.92 ERA and 96 strikeouts in 78 innings.
