Yes, you can turn the animated balls off.

I would bet at some point someone will have a stadiums mod where the ball flights are all nicely done.
There is nothing I put past the modding community here. |

That's actually a very good question for those of us planning to migrate our OOTP 8 leagues to OOTP 9. Anyone know the answer to this?

Yes, the head scout pre-conversion becomes the scouting director post-conversion.

I hope you are referring to Nutlaw, inappropriate as that may still be. I'm just asking a question here, not trying to get him to betray his Don. I am fully aware of the NDA, so let Nutlaw not respond if that is the problem.

No, that was my answer to your question. I was trying to be funny. I failed.

Just to be clear . . .
In converted leagues, your head scout becomes scouting director. But, since there are no longer any individual scouts, so those all kind of go "poof." Or, if you prefer a less jarring way of looking at it, you're a high level manager and no longer care what the names of your individual scouts in Akron, OH are.

For a while there, I was expecting to see Al Neri as Erik's avatar. I'm still a bit nervous.

Current head scout is 10/10/10/10/10 but he's 64. #2 is 10/10/10/9/7 but is only 53. Don't want to have to hire a new head scout, especially if all the other non-head scouts in the league go *poof*. OR do they actually go into the "available scouts" pool? In that case, there would be a plethora of good scouts to hire as head scout. |
