I desperately want to believe this, but I'm worried about how Lee will come back from this. Not long term, but I think it's very possible that he may not be himself for a while when he first returns.

Tonight's lineup is far away the worst lineup I've ever seen in my life. We've got Bynum, Perez, H Jr all in the same day. How great is that? I'm watching these guys get no hit against CHAN FREAKIN HO PARK!

1. J Pierre, CF .269 0 2 10
2. F Bynum, LF .238 0 1 2
3. T Walker, 1B .325 2 13 0
4. A Ramirez, 3B .207 4 10 1
5. M Barrett, C .290 4 18 0
6. J Jones, RF .239 4 10 0
7. J Hairston Jr., 2B .237 0 2 1
8. N Perez, SS .186 0 3 0
9. C Zambrano, P .083 0 0 0

No, because the Cubs *always* suck.

One of Zambrano's best performances to date and he might not get a win. 7 IP, 10 k's 0 ER.

They had to take him out for a pinch hitter in the 8th, and it might pay off, bases loaded after Mabry got a walk.

edit: nope.. grounder to end the inning.. Poifect

Holy ****! Bynum makes an error in the bottom of the 9th with 1 out. Dropped the easiest fly ball to left field evar. 1 out, 1st and 2nd now instead of two outs. Guhhhh!

And Bynum catches the third out of the inning.. THANK YOU!

On the previous out, it was a popup to shallow left and Neifi was waving his arms like wild and tellin' him with his hand to stay the hell away from the ball. ROFFLE. Got out of that jam, wtg Howry! The man has been great for us this year!

They've scored like, five runs in over 60 innings or some crap. That's not even averaging one a game. HORRIBLE.

edit: yup, five runs in the last seven games! Awful. Awful. Afwul. In my fantasy baseball league, I'm going to start picking up any pitcher that might face the Cubs(that isn't on a team already). Surely, I'll get a shutout and at worst, a win.

I'm glad I chose not to watch tonights game.

Every time Dusty puts Neifi in the line up, I die a little inside.

And don't get me started on Freddy "At least I'm not as Ugly as Jose Macias" Bynum.

****ing christ.

Time to make a trade, Jimbo. You ****ing human paraquat.

It's early yet (bottom of the 6th) and I don't want to jinx anything. I'll just say that Cubs fans should definitely be watching this game right now. Marshall is DEALING.
