Diamond league:
Port Ruppert starts off perfect in OL play (and will have enough games to qualify for a crown). |

Brooklyn Dynasty, last champ of PT22 OL Silver, is in the lead, but a close race so far.
[Still have power, but don't expect it for long. We've evacuated to higher ground, but a bit closer to the coast in Cape Coral, where Cat 5 Ian is expected to visit this afternoon. A bumpy morning already.] |

Silver League
It's looking like we may have a reverse of last week's leadership scenario, with Long beach (lots of games) in pursuit of Aceldama (not many games).

power is back! Huzzah! (went out around 530am... so 13 hours not bad all things considered)... I'll do a late day update for diamond now and skip tomorrow morning
Diamond league: Mount Hawke moves into a tie with Port Ruppert for the lead, but they will only have 6 total OL games so won't qualify for the crown. |

Long Beach go top, but it's a tight one.

The Nighthawks suffer their first defeat, but still rule the roost.

Columbia go back to the top, but there's plenty of scope for some shuffling around in the final month.

"They (are) also serve(d) who only stand and wait." Waxhaw followed that misquoted dictum of Milton (righty John, not lefty Eric) to find itself with a pretty healthy lead heading into the final stanza of 2042. While the other contenders were bursting each others' bubbles, the Wayvern stood aside, and the move paid off. Waxhaw will, however, be quite busy in September, with 13 Our League games on tap, seven of those with Terra Incognita, whose measure they have so far taken with aplomb. Coney Island has three with the Wayvern, but can only play spoiler, also the fate of Bushwood, which faces Waxhaw for three games. Los Angeles dropped its last three OL games, but could still capture the crown from the sidelines if the Wayvern stumble. The Rustlers, who have the most control of their destiny in the chase to catch Waxhaw, would seem stymied by their desultory play of late.

Congratulations to the Long Beach Landsharks!
With the Landsharks beating Columbia and Mevagissey 2-1 each, it all came down to Columbia's final game against North Bay. The Blizzard froze them out with a 3-hit shutout, and that was that. Not the best week for OL in terms of the PT standings. Just the two playoff hopefuls, and two teams facing the chop. |

Waxhaw had an easy stroll to the Gold crown. Terra Incognita proved no threat as they swooned in September and will fall to Silver.

Diamond league:
Mount Hawke had a solid OL (and overall) winning percentage for the season, but was short the minimum 10 games. Aomori took care of business in OL play winning both series (4-3 vs Shinbone; 11-8 vs Waffletown) to claim the Diamond tier OL crown this season. For the post season, Mount Hawke nabbed the top seed in the AC, while Port Ruppert claimed a wild card ticket, setting up the possibility of an all-OL LCS. Shinbone will head back to Gold next season. |
