Mashing Series: Game 3 - #2 Scorched Earth Giant Killer vs #2WC Firefly Hollow Dire Chinchilla
Conner granny powers Dire Chinchilla Scorched Earth third baseman Jorge Reynoso was nearly a one man wrecking crew (2-for-3, 4 RBIs, 2 runs scored), but the Dire Chinchilla were undaunted. Firefly Hollow shortstop Harrison Conner equaled Reynoso's RBI performance with a single swing of the bat as he cranked a grand slam in the bottom of the third to tally 4 of the 5 runs scored that frame. When the dust settled, Firefly Hollow emerged with a 7-5 victory to claim a 2 games to 1 lead in the series. |

Mashing Series: Game 3 - #1WC Toboggan Lunatic Fridge vs #4WC Three Floyds Apocalypse Cow
Tag team pitching effort gains Apocalypse Cow 2-1 series lead Three Floyds starter Jon Hartley only went 4.2 innings, giving up 4 hits and 2 runs, which might lead one to believe things didn't go well for them. The bullpen took over and was the picture of perfection as Gabriel Sanchez went 2.1 innings with no hits, no runs, no walks and strikeouts; and closer Kunifusa Yamamoto finished out the final 2 innings with no hits, no runs, no walks and 5 strikeouts to claim a 6-2 win and a 2 games to 1 lead in the series. |

Mashing Series: Game 4 - #1 Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot vs #4 Ballast Point Commodores
Blithering Idiot bust out the brooms Weyerbacher showed exactly why they won 121 games in the regular season. After falling behind 4-3 after 5 innings, they rallied in the 7th to push across 4 runs to retake the lead. Another insurance run in the 8th inning staked them to an 8-4 lead that would hold up as they swept Ballast Point in four straight games to head to the Fermentation Series. Weyerbacher desginated hitter Dan Arnold was awarded the MVP for his .421 average, with 3 home runs, 4 RBIs, 5 runs scored and a .476 on base percentage |

Mashing Series: Game 3 - #3 Terrapin Hopsecutioner vs #3WC Four Hands Typhon
Typhon hang on for first win of series Four Hands jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two innings and would extend that lead to 9-1 by the end of the fifth as it looked like they would cruise to an easy win. Terrapin had other plans as they scored 4 runs in the sixth, and another 3 in the 7th to close to within a run at 9-8. Unfortunately for Hopsecutioner fans, that's as close as they would get, as Four Hands held on from there to win game 3 and narrow the Terrapin series lead to 2-1 |

Giant Killer even up series A solid pitching performance from Slone (6 innings, 3 hits, 1 run), Gonzalez (1 innings, 1 hit, no runs), and Carr (2 innings, 1 hit, no runs), was more than the Dire Chinchilla could handle as Scorched Earth picked up a 3-1 win in game 4 to even up the series at 2 games apiece. |

Mashing Series: Game 4 - #1WC Toboggan Lunatic Fridge vs #4WC Three Floyds Apocalypse Cow
Beauvais leads Toboggan to series tying win Toboggan center fielder Dale Beauvais swung the big bat in game 4 as he went 3-for-5 with 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 2 runs scores to power his club to an 11-3 win. On the mound, while Chris Yager only went 5 innings, giving up 4 hits and 3 runs; the bullpen was lights out the rest of the way (no hits/no runs in 4 innings of work). |

Mashing Series: Game 4 - #3 Terrapin Hopsecutioner vs #3WC Four Hands Typhon
Taylor, Lozano too much for Hopsecutioner Four Hands starter Joe Taylor went a decent 9-6 during the regular season with a 3.98 ERA. In the post season, he has apparently drawn on something deeper within him. In yesterday's start, he went a solid 7 innings, giving up just 2 hits and no runs, with 2 walks and 9 strikeouts (0.64 ERA) before turning the game over to closer Jorge Lozano who finished out the last 2 innings to finish out a 3-1 win in game 4 to tie up the series at 2 games apiece. |

Mashing Series: Game 5 - #2 Scorched Earth Giant Killer vs #2WC Firefly Hollow Dire Chinchilla
Reynoso, Giant Killer take pivotal game 5 Scorched Earth third baseman Jorge Reynoso could do no wrong at the plate as he went 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs ad 2 runs scored to power his club to a 6-1 win in game 5 of their Mashing Series and a 3-2 series lead. Giant Killer starter Q Zhen Kuo more than did his part as well, going 7 innings and giving up just 2 hits and 1 unearned run in the effort. |

Toboggan sends Mashing Series to game 7 A brilliant performance from Lunatic Fridge starter Jerry Rodriguez (7 innings, 2 hits, no runs, 1 walk, 9 strikeouts), followed by closer Liam Guerin (2 innings, 2 hits, no runs), was all that Toboggan needed to claim a 4-0 victory in game 6 and push their series with Three Floyds to a deciding game 7. |

Mashing Series: Game 6 - #3 Terrapin Hopsecutioner vs #3WC Four Hands Typhon
Four Hands advances to Fermentation Series It couldn't have been a more gut wrenching game as Four Hands and Terrapin put up goose eggs inning after innings, with the Hopsecutioner looking to prolong the series to a deciding game 7, while the Typhon hoped to finish off the series and advance to the next round. It came down to the 9th inning, and sadly for Terrapin, a bases-loaded walk to drive across the only run of the game as Four Hands claimed a 1-0 series clinching victory to advance to the Fermentation series with a 4 games to 2 win. |

Mashing Series: Game 7 - #1WC Toboggan Lunatic Fridge vs #4WC Three Floyds Apocalypse Cow
Lunatic Fridge advances to Fermentation Series Toboggan starter Luis Veliz might have been the last pitcher to be a series savior (7-14, 4.04 ERA in the regular season); but this night he pitched like the pitcher of the year as he went 8 innings, giving up just 2 hits and no runs, with 4 walks and 10 strikeouts as he led his club to a series clinching 8-0 win to move on to the Fermentation Series. |

Fermentation Series: Game 1: #1 Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot vs #2 Scorched Earth Giant Killer
Stamey on point as Weyerbacher claims series opener Blithering Idiot starter Jim Stamey was his usual self, pitching an impressive 7 innings, giving up 3 hits and 1 run with 2 walks and 13 strikeouts as he led his club to victory in the opening game of the Fermentation Series. Where the pitching performance was expected, the offensive stars of the game were not. The 8th and 9th slot hitters did the heavy damage as Jake Bowers (3-for-4, 1 RBI, 2 runs scored) and Ron Phillips (3-for-4, 1 RBI, 1 run scored) led the way as Weyerbacher won 5-1 |

Fermentation Series: Game 1 - #1WC Toboggan Lunatic Fridge vs #3WC Four Hands Typhon
Acheson, Four Hands late surge claim road win to open series Typhon shortstop Greg Acheson was on fire in game 1 of the Fermentation Series, going 4-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored as he helped power his club to victory. Toboggan starter Amine Brisset pitched a solid 6 innings, giving up just 1 run, but once Four Hands was able to chase him from the game after 108 pitches, the game fell apart for the Lunatic Fridge. Four Hands pushed across 2 runs in the 8th inning, and another 3 i the top of the 9th to claim a 6-2 win. |

Fermentation Series: Game 2 - #1 Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot vs #2 Scorched Earth Giant Killer
Waddingham silences Giant Killer Weyerbacher starter Marcello Waddingham was nearly unhittable as he cruised through 7 innings of work, giving up just 3 hits and no runs before turning the game over to closer Steve Armstrong, who would finish out the final 2 innings with no hits, no run, no walks and 3 strikeouts. Weyerbacher would claim victory 2-0 and stake a 2 games to none lead as the series heads to Scorched Earth. |

Fermentation Series: Game 2 - #1WC Toboggan Lunatic Fridge vs #3WC Four Hands Typhon
Lunatic Fridge strike back to even series Toboggan pecked away with runs, picking up 1 in the first, another in the third, 2 in the fourth, 2 more in the fifth and another in the sixth to take a 7-3 lead heading into the final innings of game 2. Four Hands wouldn't go quietly though as they picked up 3 runs in the top of the 8th to pull within a run. Unfortunately for Typhon fans, that's as close as they would get as Toboggan closed out the game 7-6 to tie up the series. |
