Just ecstatic about the 64 bit. That was the only feature that I really really cared about, and seeing that confirmed here early made my day! THANK YOU OOTP!!!!!!

What a silly thing to go and get banned over. It's a shame. He had such a cool avatar too. Love me some Iron Maiden.

Oh, it was over more than just this post. When Adion said he was quitting the game wrathchild became very belligerent in that post calling people names and attacking their views. So, his ban is well deserved.

No shouting needed.
That is what I am doing as well since, well, I buy the game off Steam I can't buy it until after the fact of all the release info being out. If I am not excited about 22, I still have 21 to play. As I do not do perfect team, I'm good with 21. If I like the new features and fixes, I will buy 22.

Its not like they are keeping it all a secret but I think Wrath just liked to cause issues as I have seen him do it in many different posts.

I am excited to see what will be shown to us and cant wait. I hope we get to hear many fun and new additions to the game.

Will the 64-bit help with the game slowing to a crawl over time? I notice after a couple hours I need to close and re-boot the game to get the speed back. Playing on a fairly well built gaming PC so I doubt it's my hardware.

Also have had a few "Out of Memory" shutdowns.

That might be worth going through the support forum about. I've had OOTP open for days without experience anything like that.

64-bit should fix those issues. Applications built on 32-bit are limited to using 4gb of RAM. OOTP likes to use much more than that after a while.

Honestly, really the only thing I wanna see on the list is that uniforms have pants included. Really hate having Power Blues with grey pants. Its just not right! Really hope at some point numbers can be included on the back of the uniforms.

I know, such low wants in the game lol.

See this is why I miss the thanks button...

You bet I'm excited as I am every years... can't wait to watch the reveal on YouTube in two weeks or so, even if I'm sure I won't get what I want but it isn't the end of the world.

I purchase from Steam since version 13 so that features debate sure goes way over my head.

It should since 64 bit uses all your memory and 32 bit does not. I am running on an almost 10 year old 64 bit processor, an AMD FX-6300 Vishera 4.0 ghz 6 core processor, with 16 GB of ram, and an old AMD Radeon HD 6700 series video card. I have very little issues with OOTP21 running.

I have had almost zero slowdown except unless the game is running for a few days, and I keep it running over night for days, and have never seen an "out of memory" issue. and like I said, my computer is around 10 years old now.

I'm new to PC games

I preordered within five minutes of seeing the popup and I don't know or care what's in it, I wants it

Just wait until the 26th and get it from steam. The only thing we do not get is the 2 day early playing. We get everything else that this pre-order gets except the 2 day early play time.

Pre-ordered, as I have most years. I figure that even if I don't play it that much then the ~£28 it costs me is still better value than, for example, the money I spend on gambling or alcohol in a month.

More seriously, I think supporting OOTP is 1) relatively cheap and 2) easy for me to do, so why the hell not? That I get a very good game out of it is a helpful side effect lol.

I feel also like I'm far less pessimistic about the whole Com2Us thing than a lot of people. I'll also I think make a bit more effort to be active on the forums this year, giving my usual supply of unpopular opinions, mad ideas and occasionally vaguely humorous or strange asides.

Will the 10% launch discount still be part of the release week on Steam?
