Yay, we won our 1st ever WC game! I'm still shocked we're even here.

Now on to play the dreaded Toronto Developers. We were 8-11 against Matt's team and lost 6 of our last 7 with them. But it's a new "season" now so who knows, maybe we'll get lucky like we did early in the regular season against them.

Good luck to everyone still playing - and yes, that includes Matt and his Developers.

My team has a history of playoff choking. Last year I won 118 regular season games and was either swept or lost in 4 the first round to a team that won 83.

That wild card win was my 1st ever "series" win. We lost in our only division series playoff so I'm not feeling terribly optimistic, but it's been a fun run.

I honestly am not sure how my team does well considering it is so deficient. I don't even have a single platoon and have a completely useless roster spot, actually 2 in the playoffs.

The only bad thing about playing in D386 this season was that I felt bad when other's I knew, were losing to me. The good news is that I no longer have to feel bad. Matt's Toronto Developers just swept my Clippers. My #1 rated pitching staff gave up 16 runs in the last 2 games and only the 1st game was close. Congratulations Matt!

Good luck to everyone who remains.

He's done quite well in .900 HR parks, which we both have.

Honestly, besides the fact you single handedly destroyed my NC West team and are the main reason I died down the stretch and missed the playoffs by a tie-breaker game...

You have to be pretty happy with the season your Clippers had... huge wins all throughout the year and one incredible stretch drive run. Many props to your management!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm really happy and still amazed my team did so well, especially after the all-star break.

One thing that helped is that I had more time to pay attention to my team since I didn't feel well for several days (I have chronic health issues) so that gave me an advantage. That's one thing I like about PT and solo OOTP is that when I'm too miserable to do most other things, I can usually still play OOTP. So a big thanks to the developers and everyone else that makes OOTP great.

Yeah, I wish I didn't have to set it like that, but honestly I don't trust my rotation at all on this team. My Perfect League team is much more ready to counter the longball than this one. I'm just stuck at the point where it's 20K+ to notably upgrade any starter.

Oh boy, what have you done to my hitting? Two great pitching performances by my guys gone to waste by better ones from the Gloves.

Wow, nice work on the reverse sweep! Good luck vs. the Devs.

EDIT: Won it with 0 HR in 5 games against my defense-first team. I wouldn't have expected to lose a series like that.

Well the NC is decided. Top three teams from the AC still alive, with the 49'ers not surprisingly moving on (what is the luxury tax for non-compliant teams again?) and #2 and #3 (Gryphons and Gators) tied at 2 in the Division series. My Smoltz was my ace all year long I'd say on the Gold team so glad I have all my hopes on him. Been a good series back-and-forth. Hope Game 5 is a good one. The 49'ers await the underdog.

We have interesting teams. My outfield is defense first and I also loaded up with high gap players to multiply on the 1.5 doubles and triples. The four doubles in game 5 may have been the difference. Next season, I'm probably going to replace Acuna with Mookie in LF. Going with Mookie over Trout because of his gap rating.

I'm a little shocked that my Maddox outpitched your Bonham in game 5. It was probably mostly sequencing luck since they both gave up 12 baserunners.

Well, we did take at least one vs. the 49ers - good luck to the remaining teams, but I'll pull for the Developers if only for our good competition vs. them from a Prior diamond season.

Really wish I had any resources to add to the team this series, but will give 'em the best go I can. I just researched the starters for the series and even though I think my rotation was great all year, his out-rates me 385 to 371 and out-values mine by about $300,000 to $50,000.

Worse yet, with perfect Williams and DiMaggio and guys like Sisler and Cobb and Lajoie and Anson and Ewing it's gonna be tough shutting his offense down - his starting lineup out-rates me 859 to 800.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall.......

His AC rankings are 1-2-2-4-1-1-1-1-12. Mine were 3-6-5-1-2-4-4-2-5. So I got him on defense!!

I've got faith in you! And not just because I'd rather play your team in the finals, if I made it there, no offense. Although I'm down 2-0 now, so maybe I'll be staying at this level again next year...
