It sucks when your 'luck' is down and you see an average team on a 15-game winning streak

Mount Hawke need things to go much better if they're gonna stay in touch with Aomori.

Fairly evenly-matched in OL I152. Belo Horizonte will eventually play some OL games, just not enough to qualify for the title.

Gold League

Los Angeles take a slim lead into the second half. We're nicely set for an exciting finish.

Shinbone puts a bit of distance between itself and the rest of the pack

Terra Incognita hangs onto a slim lead, but only Grovers Mill seems in danger of falling off the pace.

Division mates Aomori and Mount Hawke have a gap of 4 months between fixtures, playing 7 of the last 10 against each other.

Parity, disguised as mediocrity, holds sway in OL I152.

Gold League

The Nighthawks are still sitting on their perch at the top, but by a very slim margin. Almost the entire league can still make a push for the crown.

Shinbone still leads the pack. The Stars only have 7 OL games remaining, including 4 against Auckland today. A good series for Shinbone will set the bar for Columbia (9 remaining) Auckland (17 remaining) and Coney Island (13 remaining). Auckland and Coney Island could cancel each other out as they play 13 times and are so far 3-3 head to head.

In PT play so far Shinbone is the only team in a playoff position, leading the AC East with a 61-47 record. The rest are hovering around .500 except Long Beach and Daytona Beach who are both facing relegation.

SaukCentre closed out July and began August with a road sweep of three games at Terra Incognita to take over the lead in the crowded OL race. From top to bottom, just four games separate the teams.

Again, no OL games last month at Diamond... schedule gods want the drama to last to the final weeks of the season.

on the Waffletown front... not much for fans to cheer about this season, but perhaps this morning's new addition will help boost the morale of the team and fanbase... had some packs on hand from last night's twitch drops and opened them this morning. This guy came up the second pack:

Bruno sweeps quickly-sinking Belo Horizonte to gain the lead. The month with the most OL action is about to begin.

Not quite as rosy for me at the moment. Running my packs teams is getting more meh by the week, and Mount Hawke have shamelessly been nerfed in tournaments recently. I have clearly not pleased the PT gods

With the chasers breathing down their neck, LA put down a 6-2 month, with just a crunch 3 games vs Mevagissey left. Mevagissey have 6 games, playing 3 vs Holy City (a sweep would give them a tiny lead) before visiting LA. Bushwood have 10 remaining, and Waxhaw have 13, playing the last 4 against each other, so there's potential for a major push from either.

Shinbone still on top. Columbia and Coney Island are the only two teams left in contention but the Warriors will be eliminated with a Shinbone win. The Stars start the day with their final three OL games when they visit Aceldama a sweep and they win the crown. Columbia has 9 remaining has to hope the Butchers help them. Depending on that series outcome Columbia will likely need to go 6-3 or 7-2

In early August, it seemed that Brooklyn had dug themselves a hole by dropping two straight in a visit to Terra Incognita. However, they rebounded to win the final pair of that series and then, later in the month, completed their OL season with a three-game home sweep of those same Rustlers. That set them firmly atop the Our League standings, with the remaining contenders having small margins for error, while the Dynasty rests comfortably, awaiting getting fitted for the crown. That said, if Baltimore, with three at SaukCentre and three at home with Eden Prairie, can go 5-1, they'll ascend to the top. SaukCentre, with home and away three-game series with Grovers Mill, beside those versus the Barons, needs 7-2 to knock off Brooklyn. Colorado Springs, who play seven with the Rustlers, three home and four away, needs to go 6-1. Finally, Eden Prairie needs 6-0, playing three at home against Grovers Mill as well as the three at Baltimore. So, it would appear, Brooklyn sits in an enviable seat, poised for celebration. Ain't that right, Magus?

There's a 3-way tie in OL I152, but the path to the title is clear. Only three games remain to be played as Fort Davis travels to Bruno Sept 11-13. The Remembrance Weekend series favors the hometown Oblates. On the outside looking in is Bordeaux and Belo Horizonte.

Stars Shine in Silver

Shinbone swept Aceldama earlier and is sitting in the clubhouse with .760 winning percentage. Columbia took 2 of 3 from Daytona Beach but even if they win their final 6 they end the season with an .759. Congrats to the Stars, final standings tomorrow.

Bruno and Fort Davis split the first two of their title-deciding series, with the Waves taking the final game, 3-1, as the bullpen shut down the Oblates for the final 3 ⅓ and struggling Andrew McCutcheon coming through with the deciding 2-run homer.

Final stats tomorrow.
