Can't seem to attach any files. Even the smilies are "greyed" out. It seems to be the only website I'm having problems with. Anyone else having problems? Anyway, I write to mention that the Terra Incognita Rusters lost the first of 31 straight Our League games, from June 11th through July 15th on the S278 schedule, but have since won three-in-a-row.

test attachment....

seems ok here.... I remember I had a similar issue back during v19... couldn't get an attachment to upload from my home laptop (but had no issues i I logged in through my work computer).... never did figure out what the issue was.... one weekend a new windows update came through and suddenly everything was working normally again.... did you get a new windows update recently? Maybe that caused an issue

Thanks. There was a windows update, but it just seems odd that it only seems to be affecting this site. It's moving slow and the display is odd. Guess if I don't resolve it, I'll just the type the standings in tomorrow. I wanted to post the compliance outline on the thread about the +'s and OL's. Thanks again.

Palolo Rides Hot Month to Top of S278

The Puppies rode a 6-1 month to grab the lead. Terra Incognita won 10 of 17 in the first leg of their 31-game Our League marathon, winning 4-of-5 series, with a road sweep at the claws of the Shasta Black Bears hampering their upward mobility. My forum page is still being balky, so I'll have to type the standings in here. One of my sons has been trying to find a solution, with no luck yet. It seems to be the only website that is not functioning correctly for me. Have tried it on two laptops and this desktop with no success. Not sure what I'll do to post the winners' crowns and lists if I can't find a resolution. Any ideas? I've tried to copy and paste from my desktop. The standings:
Code:
 Won Lost Pct. - Palolo - 16-10 .615; Annandale - 14-11 .560; Sanguine - 20-16 .556; Salem - 15-12 .556; Terra Incognita - 17-15 .531; Waffletown - 14-13 .519; Cooper - 10-11 .476; Bluffton - 16-19 .457; Port Ruppert - 16-19 .457; Shasta - 13-16 .448; Asylum - 15-19 .441; Wheatland - 12-17 .414

Oh, Nice!

And when I posted them, all the extra carriage returns and spaces I put into the standings to create a makeshift table that was readable were removed. Sorry, but seems to be nothing I can do to improve the look.

Stanley: Last night and this morning the OOTP website has been fairly unresponsive - not loading graphics, sometimes not even using the right font when rendering. I think they either need to reboot their webserver or look into whatever issues are going on.

Other ways you could format the text above given that you can't follow your normal process of uploading an image:
  • wrap the text with {CODE} and {/CODE} blocks (using the square brackets instead of curly ones - it's the # symbol on the advanced toolbar. That's how I post my standings. CODE uses a monospaced font so you can line stuff up by using tabs and spaces, like in the olden days!
  • select the text you want to format and hit the "Quote" button (it looks like a speech balloon)
  • make the items a list by hitting either the bulleted or numbered list icons

Code:

Thanks. I've tried various ways using your guidelines, but the best I've come up with is the ticker tape above. I have no buttons at all on my screen, just small boxes next to plain text names for the functions. I've tried selecting the text and then hitting those buttons, but they seem not to work. Gonna try highlighting the text and then the buttons; then replacing the [code] with [quote]. After that, I'm stumped. Talk about olden days; it'll be like an old time stock ticker. Maybe I should put ellipses between them. Thanks for your help.

Looking to join this league but need to do a few revisions on the roster, say most of the pitching staff.

Is it easier to wait until say Sunday for a full switch? (Slightly being greedy as the Iron season is going well)

This is what I have noted from reading to qualify/make items easier:
- Add folks from a page or two back in Iron/Bronze/Silver and request to be setup with leagues with friends
- Complete Roster
- + after abbreviation/name or OL, perhaps both

Team will be Janesville Onyx in I188 currently.

Anything else?

No reason to spoil your current season. Only advice I have is try to search for and buy the cards you want starting now so you won't be like me trying to "last minute rush" the full OL roster on Sunday.

That sounds right to me (again, assuming this is a F2P team and you haven't purchased PP for the team).

On Sunday Stanley will post a bunch of friends lists - you can use the ones on prior pages or use those. Just be sure to set up the friends list on Sunday and make double-sure to pick the league placement setting to "Use Friends" (Main menu, select Perfect Team Home Screen -> click Profile & Settings tab -> under General Perfect Team Settings on the right hand side select "Use Friends List" - submit your team immediately! Then log out and log back in to check that the setting took. That's what I always do anyway).

Welcome, and look forward to playing against you next week (I think I'm going to be in Iron again but one never knows until the season is over!).

P.S., Use this handy search string in the Auction House to restrict the players displayed to only OL-eligible ones. Just copy and paste it in the "Search Player" box:
Code:
wond|rookie|all-|breaker|hero|peak

The Cowboys seem to have found their level in Diamond. We currently have a winning record, but sit outside the playoffs in a tough division. I'm lamenting the lack of historical reliever options available, which is where my next chunk of PP should go. Perhaps I'll have to buy starters and convert them.

The Vikings are looking forward to hopefully joining Our League in Iron next year. It's a power heavy team.. funny that the majority of sluggers in the AH seem to play 1B (and poorly). They'll be some growing pains as I try to fill out the other positions.

Still FUBAR

Still having issues with the OOTP web pages. I see multiple reports of the same issues on the general discussion thread, so I assume there's nothing I can do from my end. I had to go to New Jersey for a graduation ceremony and got home late. I don't have the time or inclination to type all the stuff in here for S278 and B272, just to end up with the tickertape again. Sorry. Palolo, 18-11, Sanguine, 31-23, and Salem 22-17 lead in S278. Philadelphia is 7-2 in B272.

Orcas is doing surprisingly well at the moment. Starting the season with 12-17 by the end of April, the team have fought their way to the top of the (weakest) conference on the back of a hot July in which the team had a 17-6 record.

I171 report

Seems as though it's turning into a three-way fight for the crown in I171:

Fancher Creek Pirates	17	24	.415
