Hopefully others can chime in - I am not at my cpu

You should be able to unzip the *.lg file directly to your saved games folder

After you do that you should be able to load that league from the OOTP menu.

If you are having trouble locating your Saved Games folder you can go into Settings --> Troubleshooting where there is an option to open your Saved Games folder.

Cbl, question can I move the 24 schedule you put in version 3 into version 2 and if so how lol because like I said earlier the version 2 you put out works great on my pc but version 3 crashes to desktop everytime I play a game I tried everything so I'm happy playing in your version 2. As for anybody trying to play the 24 season unzip the file to the saved game folder then when you load ootp 24 at the main screen there will be a file that says continue current saved game or you can go to the load saved games and look for the 24 season file and click load file then your good to go.

The file for the pc is what ever hard drive you have c:/username/program file/ootp development/ootp 24/ data/saved games you first unzip the 24 season file to the above to the saved game file. Then go to oopt 24 main screen click on continue saved game or open load saved games and look for the file there then have fun....

For the accurate 2024 schedule go to
League settings
Options
Note the current setup to change from v3 to v2
Season start date March 20
Start season on Wednesday
Delete current schedule

Then load a file named
2024MLB_bbref_20231230.lsdl

I’d suggest making backups to your league before trying this in case something doesn’t work. Good luck!!

Thanks for the response I will try it later I wonder why version 3 keeps crashing everytime I play a game I even simulated spring training and played opening day game played 1st inningthen bang crashed to desktop I tried everything changing full screen to maximized basic graphics lowered all the onfield sound settings. So weird. Luckily your version 2 is really stable.

Hey guys. Thanks for the update. I am attempting to use the updated roster file. I see the file in OOTP from the Load Game menu so I believe I have saved and extracted it in the right file location. However, when I select the saved game, I get an error message saying "OOTP cannot load this database because it has been created with an earlier version of OOTP". Any tips? Thx.

This was made in OOTP24. If you are trying to use it in OOTP25 you are going to need to use the "Import OOTP 24 Game" option from the main screen.
