In OOTP more players are available via the new IAFA system, so the discoveries are scaled back. There should be roughly the same amount of international players.

Crisp and clean. Animations are better than 23.
Now to a couple issues...
I open 24 and click in "The Forums". It takes me to 23 discussions.
Players disappearing ... A pitcher in Texas is the invisible man. At times
all I saw was the ball. One inning a ball was hit tie the Texas SS and the ball
was at the SS area without a player. Now my team deserves invisible base runners ! LOL

Trade Reputation Feature -

Not sure if design decision, or just not working as intended... but right now Trade Reputation seems to be dropping via normal play in situations it should not. Will do some testing next few days to see just what is triggering the drop.

Will do more testing and see just what specific action is causing the drop, but will probably turn the feature off it normal play will result in it dropping.

(Bug Forum indicates it may be dropping when rejecting offers from the AI controlled Teams)

Thinking not. Couple days of sims and it looks like it is behaving as I would expect... but something caused a big drop at some point. Will just have to keep my eyes open and see if I did something I didn't think about or if there is a bug somewhere.

Game's great!

One thing I noticed -- went to trade for Andres Gimenez and he has a minor league deal, though I'm pretty sure he's got a MLB contract. I think there were a few other similar contract misreports.

Any chance other folks are seeing contracts that are off like that? Or am I wrong re: Gimenez?

Hey all right, they fixed the little weather and ballpark info widget so it stays where you put it! OOTP is perfect now. That sounds sarcastic but it's completely sincere - this was my only minor annoyance for years. Thank you for addressing it!

I like the look of the new screens - fonts seem a bit easier to read. I like the splashes of green too, it's my favorite. Surely now OOTP can't get any better...

I don't want to jinx it at all, but the game seems really solid for a beta. Yes, there are some fit and finish issues, but overall seems high quality. I've played some with my OOTP23 import as well as some with a new MLB OOTP24 game. Granted, I haven't gotten through a whole season yet, but in the games I've played out, I'm quite happy.

Trade Reputation Follow Up to earlier post after some testing.

Rejecting AI Trade Offers sent in mail is sometimes resulting in a sizeable drop in Trade Reputation. Will submit in bug forum. Can see difference from rejecting Trade Deadline offers in attached image.

In my opinion the feature is not very useable in current state.

It's funny, someone else mentioned the same thing about Gimenez. Thing is, this is actually accurate.

He'll get an MLB deal once you advance to opening day. Pre-arb guys don't really technically have MLB contracts until they actually make the team. Not that that's a question in his case, but the principle still holds.

I didn’t notice this, but noticed that the number of international amateur free agents generated is up considerably, so I’m guessing they turned down the scouting discoveries to compensate and keep most of the international amateur action in IAFA

On this note, has anyone noticed if the potential on scouting discoveries still crazy high?

I haven't played v24 yet but that was a major pet peeve for me last year with lots of discoveries littering the BNN top prospects in v23, which is very unrealistic.

I noticed this last night too--but it appears to be fixed now.
