He says he is 'grinding' the BAL missions (which means he didn't have them complete ahead of time, obviously) and that each Platinum series mission cost several hundred thousand PP, which would only be true if you hadn't prepared for it. So I know what strategy he isn't using.

I understand the concept you are explaining, but you are talking about a select few with the time and early pp luck to implement the strategy. Throwing out that you purchased all the silvers (even at 1k) and all the gold (at 2K) still means you had banked a couple of hundred K to do that?

Anyway, you are dedicated, and I just don't have more time to dedicate to the auction/card shop to replicate your success. I don't sell cards unless they are duplicates or expect them to be in missions (so mainly Live cards are punted except if I believe they will take a big jump and increase in value).

My point isn't that there wasn't a WAY to have success in the missions. It was that the missions don't seem to be a rewarding as they have in the past.

That's understandable. Apologies if I came across as arrogant. And yes, I spend too much time on this game, LOL!

I get my extra PP to do all that from tourneys and the updates. I know it's difficult not to quick sell the live diamonds and golds, but I still recommend holding onto all of them until the last week before the update and going through and checking the stats. Can make some big change just doing that.

I followed through on my "threat" not to buy 23 and quit playing PT back in January. I came back with free Go and have enjoyed my first week back. Did my favorite thing and finished the live missions. Sold my free silver Brooks for a nice windfall and where to from here? Since I have to play on my phone and lengthy sessions make it get too hot for comfort, I won't be spending much time. Just watch streams and collect 50+ packs per week and try to build my team up from those packs. No tournaments, no missions (except the live missions), no speculating, and NO meta chasing.
