I like the ragland with the vest over top of it. Rather than either or. I will have some more vest options in v6 of the template coming up. I really appreciate you making such a slick program.

yes, I had the same. But I found that the jerseys I made in the previous patch that still used the _d.png and were named jersey instead of jerseys had normal maps or diffuse maps had issues. So I updated the same jersey and my issue was resolved.

I actually just deleted the _d.png file from the extracted folder and reloaded the jersey and the issue went away. I didn't even have to do any extra work.

After the 0.3.0 update, when I try to load the uniform file (.uni, saved at 0.3.0 version), the program stops responding in an infinite loading state. Does anyone have the same problem?

There are definitely issues loading uniforms I haven't completely ironed out yet. It will probably remain a little flaky until the builds stabilize a bit.

Speaking of the builds stabilizing...

v0.3.5 has just been released!

What's new?
  • Added an "eyedropper" button which will let you pick a color from anywhere in the app window and copy it to the clipboard.
  • The eyedropper is also available from within the color pickers
  • Individual uniform elements can now be saved from the "File" menu
  • Color swatches have been added to the jersey template

What's Changed
  • Vintage collars have been moved into a select element instead of being individually selected
  • Pinstripes (and a common color picker for them) have been added to the vintage collars
  • Seams are now no longer visible in the diffuse map (although they're still in the height map) and have been toned down considerably in the textured file.

The eyedropper is a huge help. I made a jersey with it and it was quick and easy to select colors from the custom lettering I made.

Being able to save only the jersey and later only the pants (I'm fine with the cap this team uses) was also very helpful as I didn't keep producing files I don't need.

It's great that you've made the changes requested by us users. This is an excellent application.

Eriq,

Couple of things on the latest release:

1 - when you use the eyedropper to select a color, it doesn't add the swatch to the left hand side of the color picker like it does when you type in the hex code

2 - I don't know if this is an issue because I haven't tested it, but is it possible to drop the _Home from the home uniform file names? I know the game treats files without home or away as the home file by default. I just don't know if the Home does anything to prevent the autoload of uniforms. I thought I saw someone else post that. IF you use it for your uniforms, and it works, then I guess you can leave it.

I also created the two color shoulder stripes layer a la the expos. you can download it here if you wish to add it to your program

From a programming standpoint it's trivial but I have to admit I haven't really tried autoloading uniforms in years. So I'll experiment and drop the _home if it winds up being a problem.

Was using the original version with no issues but decided to try the newest update. If I click on the color swatches it automatically crashes.

It's there, but the event that caused those buttons to become visible wasn't firing consistently due a bug in the code. That will also be fixed in the next release.

All of the basic piping options for the jerseys (at least, the options that are in there now) are under the "Basic Striping" section, same as where the pinstripes are.

Imagemagick is necessary for some of the image and text manipulations. Specifically, changing or removing colors in loaded images and the "arched, "arced", "angle up," "angle down," "arch up" and "arch down" text effects.
From what I can tell, the cap auto-size function still doesn't seem to be firing. Not sure if you were aware.....just a heads up. Really liking this utility. I just discovered you can save individual caps or jerseys without having to save the entire uniform....nice touch.

This looks like a great utility. But I am having trouble getting a uniform set to reload so I can edit my work ... I get the spinning logo, but nothing loads.

FYI, I did NOT install ImageMagick ... is that needed in order to re-load a .uni file?

<EDIT: just noticed the previous post about this ... so I'm confirming the problem>

It's working for me. There does seem to be a bit of an issue where I'm having trouble selecting a cap image by clicking on it, but clicking and dragging will select it and the resize functions are all working as intended at that point.

I have confirmed the loading issue - a bit of sloppy coding on my part there. It will be fixed in the next release.

On the right side menu I believe there’s the 3 color swatches. Once I click on the arrow and it’ll bring up the color and then it crashes.

I’ve tried it with loading a old jersey made with 1.0 and even a New Jersey. So I just gave up and went back to Version 1.0 which worked good enough for what I needed.
