Sorry to interrupt with a rookie question here, but when do we find out the league we are in for the new season? I am still in an entry pool and wondering if I won't know anything about the league until I go to lunch tomorrow.

My 119 win Puppies are down 2-1 to the Seattle Pilots and I am officially sweating. 10 losses in September smelled like a lingering issue

Not sure of the exact time but around 7-8 CDT I usually see where I am on Monday.

B'sin'Glou won their Division Series 3-1 and are currently up 2-0 in the Sub-League Series. Tyler Glasnow just threw a 1-hitter!

Up 2-1 in the LCS now (won the division series 3-1), this time Syndergaard had a great outing but Kluber threw a dud.

Biggest reason I'm having some success right now though is this:

Combined bullpen statistics through 7 playoff games: 17 2/3 IP, 9 H, 5 BB, 0 R, 21 K. My closer and 2 setup guys are at 4 2/3 innings, 2 H, 0 BB, 0 R, 9 K. Teddy Higuera, who was my fifth starter and is now my long relief guy in the playoffs, has allowed 2 hits in 6 innings.

My Chaos Wolves season ended in the NLCS 4 games to 2. Still, a pretty successful first-ever PT season for me. Looking forward to seeing what the PP payout will be for playoff wins (if anything) and the post-season awards. I need to add a right-handed power threat, probably at right field, before I start up in bronze level tomorrow.

You get 1000PP for making the playoffs (which you receive as soon as the regular season ends). You get another 1k if you make the World Series, and you get 1k for winning it (unless that last has been changed for PT2.0). Sweeping any series is worth 500PP, and of course you get the PP for in-game achievements.

Last season Great Gloves and Great Bats were worth 250 each, Pitcher of the Year and MVP 600, while good season scores also gave PP (the higher the better!).

In B'sin'Glou notes: The Sub-League Series was a tale of home advantage. We won the first 2 at home, lost the next 3 away, and then won the last 2 back in our house to advance to the Iron Level Series.

In typical Familia fashion the prick gives up 5 runs in the 9th inning to cost me Game 2 of the Bronze Series, hes going on the auction for 5 PP tonight screw him

Tied up the Bronze Series 1-1 in dramatic fashion after losing the first game 6-4 (in which we got 3 runs off Max Scherzer but Jim Bunning allowed 5). After Syndergaard and Kershaw dueled to a standstill, each getting through 7 innings allowing 1 run, both solo shot home runs (ours from Piazza), each racking up 7 Ks, we took it into the 13th inning with strong bullpen play by both sides. For our part the bullpen allowed 3 hits and 4 walks over 6 innings while striking out 7. Their bullpen went 5 2/3 allowing 4 hits and 3 walks, striking out 11, but the last hit came in the top of 13th, as Manny Machado launched the first pitch he saw from Casey Mize 423 feet to give us the 2-1 victory.

So now we have the next 3 games at home, and it looks like in game 3 we'll have Kluber going against Bauer. Pretty heavy on Indians, this one, we've both got Kluber, we've both got Bieber (though he's on my opponent's reserve and I'm using him in the pen), he's got Bauer, and I've got Carrasco.

Why do it once when you can do it twice? Edwin Encarnacion with a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the 12th in game 3, again off Casey Mize, to give us a 3-2 win and a 2-1 series lead. This after my closer Minter gave up a game-tying solo home run in the top of the 9th with 2 outs.

Kluber doesn't get the decision but he did go 8 innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits and 1 walk.

Now I get to face his Kluber with my Carrasco. Oh look more Indians.

119-43 record, just to lose 8-0 in a Game 7 at home in a winner take all game. This one hurt.

Unfortunately, the Becky Lynch Lasskickers have been defeated in Game 7 of the Bronze Series thanks to Josh Hader's inability to throw strikes.

We lost in 7, this series also a tale of home advantages.

Much better postseason result than I expected!

Stanton won MVP and picked up a Great Bat, as did Thome. Andrew Triggs won the pitching Great Glove and my season score of 1130 netted me 1000PP.

Swept through the Division Series but got knocked out in the next round 4-2 to finish off what was still a good season for the Aotearoa Angels.

Got 13,310 PP throughout the season from achievements. Slightly over half from team achievements (6720 PP). My One Hit Wonder 1984 George Vukovich was the next biggest contributor with 2370 PP -- 2060 of that PP came from one game -- where he went 6-6 and was a home run short of the cycle. He got 2000 PP for the Gold Hot Bat achievement and 60 PP for the Bronze Touch The Plate achievement.

Onto Silver!
