Looking For "Friends" to join "Our League". - Page 6

All set, no live or legend cards on my active roster.

This is the friends list I have and have set it to "Use Friends List" for league placement.

It does look like it may take a bit to settle in and get enough people to fill out the leagues per level, but that's to be expected.

I am excited to find out who I am with. Lots of promoting will be going on today, so it will be interesting to see how it shakes out per level.

Our friends lists match, except for the stlrs user name final two digits. I'm going to add the 95. You should add the 36 entry as well. The team name is Asheboro Road Dogs. Having the two of them shouldn't be a problem, because if any teams are not in compliance with the Our League set up, their games just won't count in the league standings until they do. The AH seems a little pricey for FTP folks right now, but with so many teams on the list we should be fine in short order. I'm guessing it might take a little while for some people to set up their teams. Can't wait to see how it shakes out. I know my Port Ruppert Mundys will be starting in Sivler, having got the third from last promotion slot.

It's rather disconcerting that I can't view my entire Friends List on my PT universe screen. I've played with the screen settings, but can't seem to get more than 19 up at a time. When I search for the missing user name, it shows up as a friend, so I assume it'll be alright. My page scroll buttons are also inactive. Any ideas what to try? I posted it on the bug forum, but no answer so far.

By the way, I just checked on my two teams that I need to leave on AI for awhile. One of them is also headed to Silver. It'll be pretty embarrassing if they beat out the Mundys. They won't be Our League until I get a little less busy. On an interesting side note, that team, the Rustlers, lost in the wild card to Jeff Riddell's team. He's one of the developers for FHM.

You are missing stlrs95 in your last one.... Fuquay Varina Bengals. So, just curious, it sounds like there are some North Carolinians on here... I live in Cary, Fuquay Varina is right down the road, and Asheboro is also in North Carolina? How many of you ARE in my neck of the woods?

I was missing NerdySauceF2P Gotham Knights.

I deleted stlrs95 Fuquay Varina Bengals.

Just so everyone is aware of, User Name glenn team name Philadelphia Patriots is part of this league even though they did not actually post in this thread due to RL issues.

If I am counting correctly, we are currently at 19.

Can someone confirm?

Ok, how many at each level will we have next week? There should be at least 7 of us at iron level.. six of us are in entry pool this week, and there is at least one iron team that will not be promoted based on it's level. (mcgator's). I wonder if there will any others that won't be promoted?

I don't believe I will be promoted out of the Iron League as my team managed to only play .500 ball and finished 81-81.

For the Keepers, it's Kid_Heckett.

For a fun read, check out Phillip Roth's "The Great American Novel." My team, stadium, and personnel names all come from the funniest baseball story you'll ever read. Probably out of print, but it's worth the search. It is Phillip Roth, so it might be a little raw for some sensibilities.
